Beautiful castle but the way you get put in a large group and shuffled around, not cool. You only see the inside of a little bit of one part of the castle.

Beautiful castle but the way you get put in a large group and shuffled around, not cool. You only see the inside of a little bit of one part of the castle.
If using GPS, it does not take you to the hotel. If you get to location of where GPS takes you head towards the McDonald’s that is a ways away and you’ll find the hotel on the left.
Walk up the lovely paved path on the the left side (30 mins) and walk down the steeper steps on the right side (20 mins up; 10 down)--either way is a hike but the people going up the steps were working hard.
Ride the horse carriage up the hill!
I really was planning to skip this castle and do Neuschwanstein Castle. But I enjoyed this castle more because of the History.
