The hotel had an arrangement that we had breakfast in a cafe over the road, it was a nice breakfast with a good range of options but only one cup of coffee included; we could have done with a second cup to send us on our way. "This being my first visit, I was so impressed by the staff and the place in general. There were three lovely ladies at the reception that I did not get the names of, but they made my stay even better with their warm hospitality. The room – I was SO impressed, I had to walk back out again because I thought I was given a key for an upgraded room!! I had booked a double room for myself: the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was spotless, and the refreshments were topped up during a daily room clean. It's safe to say I had a peaceful night's sleep while I was here! I used the swimming pool twice during my stay: the ladies at reception were kind enough to show me where I would be going to get changed and then got me a towel. The pool is lovely and warm, and was empty both times which is always a bonus in itself. The changing rooms were kept clean and had a toilet cubicle as well as two open showers to rinse the chlorine off. Overall, I was over the moon with my stay, and I definitely will be coming back. Everyone that has asked me how my holiday was has now been recommended this place by me! I hope to see you soon, and thank you for an amazing stay, Grange Hotel!"

"Couldn't fault a thing. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms with everything you need, hair dryer, iron (and board), tea making facilities, etc.. Restaurant and breakfast food all amazing, cater for all dietary requirements with a varied range. Great facilities, we enjoyed the pool/sauna/steam room, gym and playing pool. Can't rate the spa as unfortunately we were too late making bookings but goes to show how good it must be, snooze you lose, lol, but will definitely be booking again. Nothing was too much for the staff who were all friendly and helpful. Location/area was great, plenty of parking. Great location for visiting surrounding areas, walks attractions, etc. Highly recommend. "
