The Lodge was very nice and we are so happy we got to experience it on our little family weekend get away. The rooms could use a bit of an update/good scrubbing but does still have the cabin/rustic feel regardless! We had booked for 2 queen beds but got a queen bed and pull out couch instead, so make sure you clarify before arrival. Our pull out couch had mouse droppings but again with a cabin feel it shouldn't come as a surprise.

Emerald Lake Lodge is located in a stunning natural environment. Individual cabins of 2 or 4 suites all have superb view and a wood burning fireplace. off site parking is a 4 minute shuttle ride away and the wait is variable; we waited 25 minutes over the noon hour as the shuttle was "doing other things" which we suspect was delivering lunch to staff. The outdoor hot tub was broken during our stay. There are ample outdoor activities to take part in both summer and winter and we would stay again. Wifi is in the main Lodge only and a few if the closer cabins.
