"Room is like an apartment. It had washer/dryer, kitchen. Lots of spaces. Great location next to both bus and train station. Great base for walk around old Town and go-to shirakawago. Definitely first pick when we in area."

The hotel is conveniently located near the train and bus station and old town shopping area, is brand new with a laundry room and lockers, offers excellent service, and has spacious rooms. If we find ourselves in the Hida/Takayama area again, we will definitely choose to stay at this hotel."

"Hotel located about 10 minutes from train station. No shoes allowed on premises. You store your shoes in small shoe lockers in lobby. Staff were very helpful during checkin and checkout. Assisted us in shipping luggage. Also recommended and made reservations at a great izakaya. Rooms were very modern and comfortable. Onsite onsen. You can purchase breakfast but did not try it. Free coffee in lobby."

"During my stay@ Takayama Green hotel, I had forgotten to take my handbag with me when I stepped out of their executive club room. My handbag contained my son's and my passports & wallet. To my relief, the hotel front desk contacted me immediately when their staff found my handbag. Everything in my handbag was left untouched. "
