Located just a short distance from Fredericksburg, this cozy cabin will give you a sense of privacy and a chance to enjoy the views of the Hill Country. Owned by artist Maryneil Dance, this working ranch is an artist's paradise with live water creeks, stone ledges, miniature donkeys and horses. At Dance Hall, guests are encouraged and welcome to paint, photograph and just take in the scenery!

This delightful cabin was lovingly decorated by your hostess interior designer. Mrs. Dance has thought of every charming detail in the cabin. From the pressed tin back splash in the kitchen area to the vaulted living room ceiling, This home provides the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. Extra special touches include the stunning queen size metal bed in the bedroom adorned with custom bedding as well as both artists' paintings throughout the home. There is also a queen size sofa bed for the additional guests in your party.

The cabin also has a private deck that overlooks a creek, inviting you to have breakfast in the morning or enjoy a glass of wine in the evening.

We have been to multiple Vrbo properties near Fredericksburg. Dance hall has been the best! Great location, quiet and peaceful for a short getaway. Our hostesses thought of everything you could possibly need to include a homemade loaf of bread for your morning coffee. We will definitely book again.

Perfect Weekend Getaway
My wife and I stayed at Dance Hall for a quick 3 day 2 night stay in Fredericksburg. We picked the Dance Hall because it looked great and the reviews were awesome too. Well, it didn’t disappoint! The place is clean, comfy, and has everything you need. The property itself is out in the country but close enough for day trips into town. Maryneil, the owner, was there to greet us and introduced us to her mini donkeys, horses, and of course Dolly the Corgi. We loved our stay here and will be back. The bed and sheets are super comfy as well. We also saw deer in the morning which for us “city folks” was pretty cool. Thanks again to Maryneil for making stay great!!

Dance Hall is a little slice of Heaven. This place is precious! From her beautiful art to her homemade bread and snacks she leaves her guests, it is the perfect place! I attended a wedding next door at La Bonne Vie Ranch. Perfect location for that! It’s quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. We will stay there again for sure!

Nice secluded area in Texas Hill Country. Very spacious rooms close to Fredericksburg. Lots of wildlife in the area and large areas covered in trees. A nice place to get away.

Had loud construction going on early 1 or 2 mornings at their house that woke us up. There was a smell in the bedroom that gave my wife a headache every time she stayed in there more than 30 mins so she ended up staying on the pull out sofa.

Nice quiet little getaway!
Dance Hall is a cozy cottage for two a stone's throw from Fredericksburg and plenty of other hill country towns. Your hosts - the Dances, a friendly Texas couple - have created a warm and inviting getaway where you can completely unplug from your daily life, relax on the deck, walk the property and see one of the biggest longhorns or some little donkeys. At night, there are so many deer! So be carefull driving in after a day enjoying the hill country. If you need connectivity, there is strong, reliable internet and tv with sattelite. There are plenty of breakfast items available, a small fridge, microwave and toaster oven... and they allowed us to bring a small grill so we could have a dinner there as well. The bathroom has surprisingly good water pressure for a rural setting, full shower, with supply of soaps, shampoo etc. in case you forgot yours. Your privacy is guaranteed as the property sits almost 2 miles off the nearest paved road, and the Dances will say hello and leave you to your vacation. Cost is very affordable for the quality, and reservations are trouble-free to make. Questions beforehand are answered fairly quickly, but it is a working ranch, so it may be a hour or two before you hear back directly from the hosts. If you want a cozy escape from the noise and pace of your "normal" life, this is just what you need. Definitely recommend.
