"The Maui Coast property was delightful. We enjoyed the Aloha vibe and great service from everyone in every department. From the moment we arrived to the very last moments before we departed, the front desk staff, the cleaning staff, the poolside bar and restaurant staff, the Caffé Kihei staff, and the shuttle driver. Our room was extremely comfortable. It has a lovely little outdoor sitting area with a terrific garden of native plants. The beds and bedding are top notch. The room has a wall safe, a large refrigerator, a microwave, coffee maker, nice glassware and mugs(not plastic!), great water pressure and the mirror has a heated center area so you can see even after a steaming hot bath or shower. The pool is great and there is a friendly bar with live music every night. It is a lively resort without being obnoxiously noisy or crowded. Additionally, the location is terrific if you like walking. We wanted a vacation without the trappings of a car and this is the perfect place. When we wanted to go a little farther than we wanted to walk, they offer shuttle services for up to three miles in a very clean, comfortable and high model minivan with a very kind driver. We would stay here again in a minute! There is construction next door on a new phase. They have done a nice job blocking it off. It was noisy at times, but not awful. It was never an issue for us. If you are picky and like to complain, don’t stay here! Everyone and everything here is wonderful!"

"Great place to stay! The staff was very helpful as well. The signage for elevators in the parking garages is lacking and you have to ask for a parking pass when you get there which we didn’t know about. Other than that, we would recommend 10/10 and will visit again. "

"It is very old in appearance and feel. The staff is very helpful but the hotel needs a face lift. For instance, the wicker on the desk chair has holes and webbing that is in shambles."

"We were pleasantly surprised by this property. We were only in Maui for a couple of days so we decided to get the least expensive room we could find and expected to be a bit disappointed. Boy was I wrong. Our room was huge and updated with a full kitchen . We didn't have a view of the ocean but that didn't matter as the property is beautiful and it is a easy walk to the beach where the largest turtle I have ever seen came right out of the water in front of us. Our stay was magical and I can't see use going anywhere else. We will definitely be back. I believe that all units are privately owned and am sure some are more updated than others. All the staff were friendly and inviting. "
