Clean, nice, comfortable hotel – not much English…

Athena Hotel is a clean nice and comfortable hotel in the heart of District 10. The staff is very attentive, and overall the hotel offers good value, particularly for business travelers. It is not in a touristy area so don’t expect much surrounding for English speakers. It is more suitable for Asian or North American business travel, less so for families and tourism. Included breakfast is a combination of Asian and western breakfast buffet options. The staff is very helpful and attentive, although they try hard, English is not strong for most of them. Communicating with the front desk was generally not a problem. I highly recommend upgrading from the deluxe to the superior room, where we stayed, as my understanding is that the lowest price deluxe rooms do not have windows.
