"The hotel is in a great location for exploring Melbourne north and south of the river. It is only a few steps to a wide choice of eating places and located within the free tram zone. The staff were friendly and professional. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a good view across the rail tracks of Flinders Station and the river. Our room was very quiet. We could occasionally hear the trains, but the sound was brief and heavily muted and did not disturb us. Room service food was very good, especially the lamb ribs! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Rendezvous and it will be our first choice for accommodation when we return to Melbourne."

"Everything about Hotel 1st class. Can recommend also to families. Beds great, buffet brekkie great. Staff great nothing a problem. Very central to everything with light rail close by. Great prices & rooms larger than normal with great large bathroom & deep bath."
