Unplug To Recharge. Choose Nature. 15 mins from Boone NC.

Your Dome sits on 8.5 acres with only 3 sites & 1200+ feet of state stocked trout stream.

Instagram worthy Glamping experience. Eco-Nature escape on a dime!

No WiFi. No plumbing (BYO Water). USB Power Banks Provided to Recharge Lights & Fan. Unplug from Life and Recharge!

Glamping Unplugged is primitive camping at an unprecedented level. And we did not spend a mint on this steel dome to disappoint! We have created a space for your much-needed digital detox on a beautiful tract of land that allows for the utmost privacy. Immerse yourself in nature and unplug, you will thank us later.

Arrive to a king bed with cozy clean sheets steps from a noisy state-stocked trout stream. A high-end cooler is your fridge. A Weber charcoal grill is your kitchen. USB powered lighting and power chargers are provided in addition to linens, pillows, towels and toilet paper. There are screens for the windows to allow a cross breeze and a solar powered fan. Moist camping towelettes are provided to deodorize and cleanse your body (or simply use the creek) and, of course, there is a port-o-toilet.

Save an additional $10 if you share social media quality photos with us of you enjoying your family's "Unplugged" time away from the stresses of every day life and away from the internet and iPads!

We are pet friendly with a $25 pet fee.

We require that you park just off a state-maintained road and hike 100 yards down a relatively level path to your Dome. You will then have 8.5 acres, 1200+ feet of creek frontage all to yourselves for the time being, until we erect a second dome :)

Go explore! Go Unplug! @glampingunplugged

So great to disconnect!
What a great spot to disconnect from the real world for a few days and to introduce our kids to the idea of camping! We will definitely be back!

Deep gap dome, almost awesome
My girlfriend and I booked this trip to get away from city life and enjoy the peace, quiet and privacy of a mountain getaway. The location and setting were nice, although the listing noted we would have the entirety of the rental property to ourselves. Upon arrival we were greeted by a family of four and multiple campsites within the property. Overall we enjoyed our stay but the listing was dated and some minor details were errant. The place was clean and tidy, and the wood stove was a live saver! Still would revisit knowing now what I didn’t previously. I would recommend going when there is plenty of foliage given our dome window (which overlooks a really cool stream) was facing directly towards the road about 60 yards away. 7/10 overall

Unplugged for sure
I did enjoy my stay, but when reading the listing on here it stated 'glamping'. I am a travel agency owner by trade, this is not glamping. If there was running water and electricity, ok.. yes, but no this is not. I did appreciate the No data or wifi, my business has so much social media is was nice to pushed outside of my comfort zone and not have that connection. The river is clean and beautiful, the dome tent was wonderful, the bed was 10/10 absolutely comfortable and loving the sheets!!!! Everything including location was fantastic. Town was a short drive and easy to get to. If it had running water, I would be back in a heartbeat. But it doesn't mean I am not going to mention this place to my clients to enjoy.

Hidden Gem!
This was an awesome experience! The host was very kind and quickly responded to our messages. There are three domes, but it felt very private. It was a much needed getaway and it did not disappoint! We’ll definitely be back!
