"Jane is a great hostess - she communicated well with us prior to our stay and was on hand to answer any questions. She even 'puppysat' for us the first night! The cottage is located less than a 5 min walk from the main street of Daylesford and just a 5 minute walk down to the Lake. Very comfy beds and a well stocked kitched - and a lovely treat of Easter eggs for us to fill up on. The garden had loads of seated areas to sit and enjoy coffee and read. Highly recommend. "A beautiful, historic house in a perfect location. There are 3 different types of accommodation available and we opted for the historic rooms opposite the pretty breakfast/meals room. I wish I had stipulated ‘ground floor’ as it was difficult for us to carry luggage up the outdoor stairs. I will stay on the ground floor next time. The room was very spacious and well maintained. It had a beautiful ambiance. Our only suggestion - the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn’t work. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Thank you. "
