- Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities
Check-in was awful, once you got your room key, you then got passed off to another staff member who had your towel cards but first needed to explained about the hotel and its restaurants and pool. Then they proceeded to try to get you to sit for a presentation for a timeshare. No thanks.....everywhere around the lobby and common areas was someone trying to sell excursions and timeshares. Even the people in the trinket shops were very aggressive "free today". We came to Cancun to relax and this was not a very relaxing resort. This resort was very under staffed where it counts, example in the restaurants and service at pool side and definitely on the beach. We were always having to go to the bar for drinks while sitting on the beach or at the pool, as there was only one waiter/staff person for the entire area. In the restaurants one person was in charge of several stations at the buffet and so the lines were getting long waiting for someone to serve or make the dish (omelette, tacos, anything on the grill) The food was good and there were plenty of choices. Rooms were clean but dated and the hotel was very noisy and loud. This resort had more patrons then staff and space to accommodate everyone. We will be looking at a different resort next year.
