The location is good but everything else was disappointing. I travel over 4 months a year for work, so I know what is expected and what is below par. The communication required to access the property is not what I would expect via Wotif. It should be impossible through software intervention to book a property on the day of rental that requires 24 hours notice to obtain access instructions. these were not complicated and were easy to obtain but we could not contact the property owner by phone so almost had to book another property for the night if it was not for Wotif helpline. The property was similarly priced to many I have stayed in in South east Queensland in the last two weeks. however I feel the price is at least $50 / night over priced. The bed, amenities, kitchen utilities and things in general were of very cheap quality, in some cases lacking, just enough to do the job but nothing more than that. It all made for a stay that was way below what I had expected from the website description. The bed is so hard and uncomfortable that I hardly slept. Plus many cases of little things that were low quality which colors the stay negatively and I could not recommend this property. It is obvious the property own is not resident or part of the complex. I stayed at a property for the same price in Redcliffe with Wotif which was the best place I stayed in my travels and it had prime sea views. There is no way these two could be compared as equal, in terms of unit quality.
