Quinees is a four-bedroom family and pet friendly cottage located in Blackheath, the highest township in the Blue Mountains. Quinees is located in an area known locally as ‘Paradise Hill’, which directly flanks the majestic Kanimbla valley.

The perfect family setting, Quinees is complete with toys, books and DVDs and a large back garden with an entertaining deck, BBQ, trampoline, fruit trees and a cubbyhouse. With or without kids in tow, this charming cottage offers a relaxing retreat. Take the time to unwind by the fireplace, breathe in the fresh mountains air sitting in the back garden or on the deck, or soak in the full-sized tub. Families will enjoy the dedicated kids spaces – including kids bedroom and outdoor cubby – which will keep your young ones entertained for hours.

Quinees is located in a quiet and picturesque area of Blackheath. Only a short walk down Cecil Road at sunset offers lovely views of the Kanimbla Valley. For the more ambitious, there is the long walk through Porters Pass or Govetts Leap Lookout. Blackheath village itself boasts a range of cafés, restaurants, local shops and attractions to sample. You will not need to venture far to embrace this quiet mountain village experience.

Nice house and location but...
....the property had not been cleaned to a standard we expected, especially as we pay a cleaning fee. One bathroom had dirty towels, there were cobwebs inside and outside the back bedroom and the floor in the kitchen/lounge area was dirty - we know because we swept it clean shortly after arrival.

Really loved staying at the property with my family. Well kitted out house with lots of things to use like a proper family house. Excellent for the kids with their own outdoor kitchen. Very peaceful and quiet spot.

Loved our stay at Quinees
We enjoyed a super relaxing stay at Quinees in Blackheath. Really nicely laid out cottage with modern touches and old school charm. Beds were really comfortable with premium linen and the proximity to hikes nearby was awesome. Loved having Black Cockatoos right outside as well as loads of other native birds. Nice and quiet at night. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

A gorgeous home for a family to stay in. Our hosts provided excellent information as to how to get there and how to clean up. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. Beautiful back and front yard for kids to play in. Everything was just perfect. Highly recommended!

Enjoy Dining in Lovely Huge Kitchen, Be Pampered in Gorgeous Long Bath & View Breathtaking Sunset
What an incredibly beautiful home where every corner is simply a delight! The moment we stepped in, we fell in love with this beautiful home. We enjoyed cooking our steak dinner etc the first night in the beautiful country kitchen with top notch kitchen items, having breakfast around the kitchen island in the next 2 mornings. It has pretty quality teas like digestive, calming etc, plus a coffee pod maker and complete with quality utensils, cups and plates. We love the modern bathroom with its gorgeous long bath, showers and quality bathing soap, shampoos and even hands plus body lotion. The owner provides the best of the best for pampering moments, including some bathing salts too. Don't miss the incredible sunset view among the valleys just down the road from this home in the evening. We watched it both evenings and were so glad we did, capturing its awesome beauty and embracing the cool air. We found the star-gazing light and we put it up where it shines around the living ceiling. This was great for watching movies on the TV during the night. The games included the poker games with chips that we enjoyed playing. The comfortable couch in the other corner is great for lazing in and reading a book. We had such a special time as 7 adults of us as a family in this home that we truly appreciated all the little yet high quality tasks that the owner truly considered to make us feel so wonderful.

Highly recommend - very homely and comfortable
We stayed at the property for a week over the September school holidays - 2 adults and 2 children. The accommodation is very comfortable and felt like ‘home’, especially with the open fire. There was plenty of wood supplied. My youngest (10yrs) loved the rear of the house and the king bed and his own bathroom. The location is great and we travelled to Katoomba for activities. The communication was very punctual and check in was very simple. We would love to stay again.
