Nice room. Staff could not have been more helpful, friendly and attentive. Breakfast was excellent and a lovely dining room and garden area. Unfortunately we had not realised there was no evening hot meals in the restaurant on a Saturday night. We had planned to eat in or have room service and neither were available. We could not find much open close to the hotel so ended up eating what we could find from Greggs and The little Tesco across the road.

This place is nice enough but just felt a lack of experience in the level of hospitality received. You can tell it’s run by the university and is not part of a hotel chain. Don’t let this put you off though it’s good value for your money

Good stay for one evening
Staff at reception and breakfast were very good. The room was big enough for one evening - but it was quite hot in the room. The hotel provides fans and the windows can be opened too. Excellent breakfast!
