OMG,this Property shouldn't be on you guys list!! And had nerve to call itself a Wyndham😠 The worst La Quinta Inn I've ever stayed in!!,,One of the guys and I was in town for LSU football game , luckily we only had 2 sleep there for 8 hours before leaving..If my lady would have been with me there is no way I would've let her sleep there..

We were traveling from Missouri to New Orleans. The night before we stayed in a Druery in Jackson for the same price as this laquinta in Baton Rouge. Jackson was fabulous. This laquinta was gross, DIRTY, the room smelled of mold, the shower was covered in mold, we got moved to a different room bc the ceiling leaked, the toilet stopped flushing in the room we were moved to. The AC barely worked. The pool didn't even have water in it. I got to listen to the room above us have sex ALL night. We got two small towels and one wash cloth. The blow dryer didn't work or the outlet, I'm not sure which. Had I not had my husband with me I would not of stayed there, it felt very unsafe and gave a crack den vibe. This should have been like a $35 a night hotel, in fact in small hole in the wall towns with $35 hotels I have stayed in, they were NICER than this $80 a night laquinta! Outer window glass was not even fully in window. I was seriously worried what I would catch using the shower. This place really just needs a match as in fire.

There are needles and junkies around every corner of the building. It’s not jus this place, it’s the same for all the surrounding hotels!!!

We wouldn’t even get in the bathtub/shower. Looks like they tried to paint over some of it with a paint roller. I have pictures if you would like to see it.

Didn’t like anything… When you walk in it smells like weed being covered by fabreeze spray. The floor in our room was extremely sticky then the carpet was wet and sticky and the room it’s self smelled of mold and water damage the mirrors were not cleaned and there were hand prints on the head boards the beds were not clean and had brown spots on the sheets the front desk person acted as if he could care less they did let us try another room but it was just as bad if not worse this experience has ruined la Quintas for my family…

Roach motel
It reeked of Marijuana the minute I got off the elevator, the furniture in the room was tore up and from the 1979, looked dirty; didn’t even want to sit on it. There was a giant cockroach sitting in the middle of the floor, the tub was chipped up and discolored, there was a big ugly stain in the middle of the wall, the room smelled closed old and stale, it screamed crack head motel!! The front lobby is newly renovated and looks good online, but the rooms are catfished! I didn’t stay at the hotel, I left and the hotel refunded me my money back. I’d even considered looking at a different room but it was the same results, cockroach in the middle of the floor, etc

NEVER AGAIN!!!
It was the worst hotel I never stayed in. I was literally afraid to sit my bag down. When I pulled into the parking area, I should’ve left then!!! Someone had a crockpot in the window of a 1st floor room!!! The inside was just dirty looking. The elevator smelled like weed. The carpet was full of bleach stains. The mattress was lumpy and the beds were not made properly. The room looked as if it hadn’t been wiped down or cleaned in months!!! Just plain nasty!!! I immediately returned to the front desk and said…I CANNOT STAY HERE!!!

ROACHES. The staff were not responsive when we asked for a manger 3x. They kept telling us to come back later. There were roaches in our room, hall, elevator. We could not get a refund to stay somewhere else, and most places were booked due to graduations in town. Do not stay here under any circumstance.

I stayed in room 301… The bath tub Plaster in glue and I thought I was going to fall through the tub.. I asked for towels and never got them till I had to go downstairs after midnight to get some.. The cover sheets had stains on them… this was just a nightmare… I even booked for an additional night but I couldn’t tolerate it any longer. So I checked out… it was waste of my money..
