Find hotels by Fairmont in Baku Old Town

"This hotel is from what I can gather from the sign on the roof linked to the Möwenpick chain. The rooms are big, beds so comfortable and the bathrooms spotless with all the bits and bobs you expect. The breakfast choice is extensive and goes on til 11, 11:30 at the weekends. The staff are wonderfully helpful and do their best to make your stay enjoyable. There is only one criticism, but I think it’s important to raise it. The hotel has lovely carpets throughout but the hotel must invest in a really good carpet cleaning machine. It seems that people have been throwing tea and coffee around the corridors and in my room there was what seemed like a red wine stain. The cleaning staff obviously tried to clean it up at the time but the stains persist. My plea to the management is please do something about the carpet stains. In every other respect the hotel is excellent. I really enjoyed my stay, but future reviewers might not be so kind. "

"if you’re looking for a place to stay in the old town, this is the place to be. The rooms were designed beautifully. All of the receptionists were very kind, friendly, super helpful, and amazing people. They helped me with all my needs. They went above and beyond. The hotel is situated in the old town and it’s walking distance to major sights. I highly recommend this hotel. I would definitely come back again to this one. I had a great experience. "

"Everything was perfect, the only problem is, hotel is not on a walking distance to anywhere. The hotel is next to a highway and it is almost impossible to walk anywhere. The first motivation for the hotel was, its very close location to the Hayder Aliyav center, but it is almost impossible to pass the highway to there. Thanks Bolt for transportation. Other than walking the hotel has a fancy design, room decoration was better than our expectations. Swimming pool is an extra building next to the hotel. Somehow my girlfriend didnt enjoy the society in the sports center and we didn't visit again. House keeping was not good in timing and they didn't replace the towels during 6 days stay. "

"Excellent hotel, staff were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. Great room and fantastic value I had the room with the terrace if you can then 100 pay the bit extra it’s the view of the cityscape more so than the sea. Convenient location also in the old town but easy reach of the metro and lots in walking distance Mention of the breakfast also - a full breakfast set with so much time, care and warmth put into it. Amazing stuff "
