"Absolutely beautiful hotel, we were blown away. One minor issue, we had requested later checkout which we were told there was a fee for - that’s fine so we agreed. Then when my husband checked us out, the gentleman said we wouldn’t be charged for the late checkout - we were delighted! Upon arriving home, we actually were charged. Not a huge deal, but we were a bit put off by it. "

"Our stay at Grand du Lac Hotel was memorable from the time we checked in. Upon arrival we were greeted by the staff with a drink and they easily set up a couple of tours for us based on our preferences. Our room was great facing the street with a balcony. Breakfast offered a lot of delicious choices. Rooftop bar and hotel restaurant were top notch. But above all, the service was excellent from start to finish. Jack, Frankie and the rest of the staff really went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of. If you come to Hanoi, this is the place to stay at, you won’t be disappointed. "
