Received several messages in all caps about bringing $20 cash deposit in case I lose thier keys. Also informed me if I'm not there by 6 & don't call they will give my room to someone else despite having paid in full, What the?!? Not "resort
Oceanfront room w private balcony.
Room wasn't ready at check-in, waited about 15 mins. Not bad but after long drive & message about losing my reservation if not timely - super annoying.
Paid my $20 cash deposit for keys they also put my cc on file...overkill.
Room felt damp always, floor felt gritty always. Rust on bathroom fixtures, walls look very aged, no coffee maker, no microwave but there's a mini fridge. Super small room, small bathroom, small balcony. One tiny elevator.
Rude employee reminded us more then once within 2 minutes to turn off the hose when we were done like we can't read the giant sign or understand the first time they said it.
Drunk crowd hanging out on all the balconies and pool. Dog barking constantly.
Ends up air conditioner was leaking into the wall of the room, floor would get wet. Hence the constant damp feeling. Woman at desk apologized but was not surprised said something like they have been trying to fix it.... Another employee thought we were in another room - also having the same problems... Clearly a common issue at the hotel. Was not alerted of the problem at check in.
Was cheaper then other hotels in the area but far from inexpensive. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it
