I stayed at Four Seasons Bali at Sayan for four nights and was pleased with the overall experience. First and foremost, the level of customer service was consistently superb - be it at the spa, reception, or any of the restaurants. Most of the staff members did indeed remember my name, which gave a personal touch to the service they offered. Second, all the facilities including the suite that I stayed at were in a perfect condition. This is truly amazing given how old the hotel actually is. The suite has a very large bathroom and a wardrobe, with two ceiling fans and air-con keeping the room very comfortable throughout the day. The only drawback is their dining option. The main restaurant has a stunning view but the food was just okay at best - I did have much better food at local warung in Ubud at less than one tenth of the price that I paid at the hotel. Having said that, the restaurants have a very broad offering ranging from traditional Japanese breakfast to pizza so you will never get bored of it if you decide to stay at the hotel at all times. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, especially if one is looking for a relaxing time away from the buzz of the city and I am sure to be back at this place in the future.
