森に囲まれた静かなホテル

海の側でありながら森にも囲まれていて、鳥の声がひびく静かなホテル。俗世から切り離されたような不思議な雰囲気。レストランの食事も美味しいです。

Property not well maintained despite large rooms, and not on beach, nearest beach 10 kms away, which was beautiful and beaches are more clearer and cleaner than North goa.

Great hotel don’t trust the car service

The hotel was great but we booked the hotel car for the day and the driver just said he had to leave and left us 40 minute drive away from the hotel. Yes we called the hotel they didn’t care they said take a taxi.

it was too far from everything, cleaning around the hotel is just wasn't good as over Grove bushes and trees and grasses, service was bad too, if you ask something either it doesn't arrive or very late arrive, need too much to look to repair and maintenance services.

Relaxing weekend at this hidden jewel

Truly symbolic of its name, Mayfair Hideaway Resort is a hidden little jewel in South Goa. Yes it does take bit long to reach there (we took 1 hour from airport), but it was all worth it in the end. We had a river view from our room. The greenery inside the resort was mesmerizing. The best part of the resort was its swimming deck and the infinity pool. The staff was great, and the food had really good taste. If you are looking for a resort with beach at walking distance, this is not the resort for you. We hired a scooty and explored two beaches in the range of 10-25 kms. If you are looking for a quiet weekend away from crowd, then this is the perfect place.

Нормальный отель в очень плохом месте.

Останавливались с друзьями, после недельного отдыха в Северном Гоа.Территория очень зеленая и чистая, но маленькая. Номера небольшие без балкона или терассы.Уже немного обшарпанные. Диван в гостинной провален, такое ощущение что там слон сидел. В ванной комнате не было ручки для открывания ящика (оторвали видимо давно).Реостат второго вентилятора просто не работал, включаешь на 1 скорость, вращается так, что скоро взлетит. Номер был 222 второй этаж. В ресторане по моему никогда и никто не торопиться.Пол часа ждали сам заказ, потом еще час самого счета.И плюс еще в чеке налог на обслуживание, это я еще могу понять, но налог на воду и еду извините- не могу.В Северном Гоа таких налогов нету. И про территорию вокруг отеля, делать там нечего вообще! Выходишь и дорога +лес, ближайший магазин 15-18 км.На море возили на машине обратно забирали в 17 ч.Ехать минут 30 до моря. Такси 800 руб, если не ждать машины из отеля. Так что расположение отеля мягко говоря не очень.Зато есть небольшая библиотека на русском языке.Зачем она - мы поняли после 3 часов прибывания в отели.После трех ночей с большим удовольствием уехали в другой отель.

В целом не рекомендую никому тут оказаться..Почему... Расписано отдельно. Разместят, значит все узнаете. Нет, значит просто не думайте сюда приезжать даже бесплатно..

Отель для транзита или романтического отдыха

Брали отель т.к. был по дороге между переездами среди курортов гоа, на 1 ночь, по сути так сказать для романтического транзита) Все супер, небольшая но очень красивая и ухоженная территория, прекрасный большой номер с большой ванной и прихожей, но без балкона, приятные бонусы в номере. Цены в самом отеле приличные по меркам ГОА и не включают таксы по 20%. Пляжа нет, река высохла и по воде трансфера до пляжа в наше время также не было, но мы не для этого останавливались. Немного странно что за пределами отеля сразу мусор, коровы, дома местных в печальном виде и т.д., т.е. плавая в бассейне ты вроде как олигарх наблюдающий на беднотой вокруг, что для кого-то может добавить дискомфорт. Резюме - Отель для транзита или романтического отдыха, я бы рекомендовал останавливаться просто на пару ночей для отдыха в действительно достойном отеле, коих на ГОА не так много за адекватные деньги

Hotel bound for a secluded rest.

Everything is pleasant if one wants to be secluded away and be hotel bound.getting out of hotel,transport is limited to outside taxis run by the local village ladies who dictate the prices of the journeys and limit the waiting stay which you also pay.Hotel has no control over the taxis,which is annoying and the General Manager listens to your comments BUT DOESNT DO ANYTHING ABOUT ANY OF YOUR PROBLEMS,MAY THEY BE HOTEL STAFF RELATED OR OUTSIDE TAXIS MONOPOLY.

Complete rest vacation.

The stay was pleasant with a few difficulties with reception,service could be more welcoming. Getting around by taxi ,is dictated by the Locals who control the prices which are expensive.Hotel management were informed,so wait and see. If want to dine out of the hotel than have to get around by taxi. Found prices in the hotel are not included of taxes,so be prepared to have a hefty tax added on.

Well appointed structure. Some items and building features require renovation. Food was OK but nothing spectacular, understandably given the low number of guests. Taxi to Goa airport was 1900rp.

Relaxing Bliss!!!

We had booked south goa keeping in mind it been away from crowd and complete silence!!! we got just that with this location and hotel. hotel is well placed and tucked away in a nice little corner where the sea comes in joins the river. it was very relaxing experience and the staff was very helpful and friendly. would recommend this hotel to any couple who is looking for some US time together!

Superb location just on the back of river.

We stayed for four nights had great time. Rooms are amazing cleaned and bathrooms are just awesome. Food is very good breakfast buffet is excellent but need to add at least one fresh fruit juice. Staff is very courteous, friendly and really provide quick service. It's truly va hideaway resort. Only thing is travling from here to prime places is expensive as is far away.

Nice hotel, away from the usual tourist hotspots

Stayed 18 nights Oct / Nov 2015, most guests stay 2 - 4 days. The hotel is too far to walk to beach, restaurants, shops etc, nearest location would be Cavelossim, which is about a 15 minute drive. Hotel arranges a free taxi at 10 am and pick up from the beach at 5 pm. There was flexibility with the cab and the reception kindly arranged for a taxi to run us to and from the nearest resaurant (Joes River Cove - excellent choice and value) FOC. As the Mayfair is located on a tidal estuary, at low tide the mud / silt is exposed and an occasional whiff is experienced around the pool area, but never particularly intrusive. The bar & grill area around the pool was not staffed / used at all during our stay. Spa facilities were clean and comfortable, but had no reception that understood much English. All in all a peaceful, quiet, relaxing hotel.

Small, peaceful, quiet resort in South Goa

This stay was primarily to give my parents a little break from the daily hustle & bustle of their lives. Tucked away in a quiet corner of South Goa, right where the river flows to the sea, this was the perfect hideaway. Its a lushly landscaped, small resort with 30 rooms. From the welcoming front office staff( Bibhuti was a pleasure to deal with) to the huge room with an equally large bathroom, and from the friendly staff to the personalized service, this resort is a gem for those who value privacy, peace & attention to detail. The restaurant Nautica is a delight. The staff there, from the manager Kedarnath, to the main server Ranjeet to the waiters including Valanko..all of them provided excellent service. The breakfast spread is lavish & has plenty of options. Lunches & dinners are smaller in proportion, but well prepared & sure to delight the tastebuds. My parents greatly enjoyed the opportunity to have dinners custom made for them. Other things that we enjoyed are the free & fast wi-fi, the gorgeous pool & sitting area & the morning views over the ocean. I tried out a massage at the spa & it was just about ok. Other than that, cannot really fault anything at this gorgeous, small resort.

This hotel is in a nice relaxing location.

This was a lovely hotel in a very tropical location beside a river. It was a very beautiful drive to the hotel through the middle of an Indian village which had a very caribbean feel to it. The houses, scenery and greenary all reminded me of the countryside in Jamaica. If you needed to get away from the quiet seclusion, there is a daily shuttle bus that takes you to a more commercial tourist area by the beach. This was a very pleasant little spa hotel. It is a good place to relax.

The first impression at the entrance was not so good. However as we stepped inside it was much better than what was expected.the rooms were so huge and comfortable. The food was awesome..service was very good.will definitely come back soon

Boutique hotel especially if you like solitude

Nice and cozy place. The property is small but well maintained and clean. Rooms are spacious with enough privacy to enjoy solitude. V good food. Nice and helpful people at the restaurant and for other services but cannot say the same for the check-in counter(only some of them were not helpful). Bit steeply priced for its distance from beach.

Far away from airport and not good value for money

Hotel is too far from the airport and located at almost deserted and secluded place. It took more than 1 hour and Rs 1800 to reach hotel. The hotel again took Rs 1800 to drop to airport. The travel Menu of hotel mentioned charges of Rs 2600 for pick up and drop for airport for 6 seater car, but hotel reception staff insisted on charging Rs 3600 for the same from us giving strange argument that Rs 2600 is charged if someone is picked and dropped on the same day. Because of great distance from main tourist destinations, hotel charges Rs 4500 for tour of tourist sites like beeches and churches etc. on a 6 seater car. Hotel has a good swimming pool and lot of greenery which looks pleasant. The deluxe room that was given to us was not as spacious as it looks in 3 D video on website of hotel. Beds were not comfortable, too soft and dip down so much that it becomes difficult to change side for a middle aged person who is used to sleep on hard or firm bed. Bathroom was however very beautiful. Food is very spicy and oily. Buffet for breakfast was good but too costly charging close to Rs 2500 for family of four. They provide chappals in the room but they are of poor quality, of the standards of a 1 star hotel and pinch the feet. If hotel charges so much, can't they provide good quality chappals? My overall rating is 2 out of 5. It is definitely not good value for money.

Nice hotel, very far from beach or any activity.

While the Hotel is cosy and nice, there is hardly any activity within the hotel or nearby. It's very expensive to travel anywhere from here. To reach south Goa & back private cab's charge Rs.2,500/- for North Goa it is Rs.4,200/- . No public cabs or proper public transportation is available. Beyond a day or two, it becomes very boring. Motorbikes are available but almost like one or two and in the monsoon it's quite risky. Even if courtsy coach is made available to prominenent destination's or with a charge, it could become an interesting option.

Beautiful stay .. If you are with family

I had planned for this resort for our first anniversary. When we reached there, they already had another group booking and they were kind enough to give us the suite instead of a deluxe room. Rooms are good, spacious and well maintained. Food was excellent and the price was also reasonable. Good isolated place if that's what you prefer to be away from the crowd and just relax. The resort rented their bike, so were able to go to Agonda and Palolem beach which can be covered in less than hour. Overall ..we loved the place and would definitely come back

Wonderful Hotel

The rooms are huge & beautiful and exactly like in the pictures and very clean. An awesome infinity pool.There seemed to be only one restaurant open when we asked & there is not much variety of food in their restaurant which was a bit of a let down but the food here is not bad.The buffet menu isnt that great for the price so we chose the a la carte menu. The service next to the pool area was bad. Took more than half an hr to even get a menu.They also have a library with some magazines,dvds & x-box.Overall excellent place to stay.Would definitely visit again.

Fantastic Customer care and comfortable stay.

We booked this hotel over the phone with recomendation from hotel.com customer care team. I must say that I am very pleased with advice and suggestion regarding the hotel I received from hotel.com. We Stayed during 18th of march -23th of March in room 123, and beautifull surrounding. Arriving in Goa on 18th and surrounded by beautifull palm tress and very rural location. Food quality and customer care at the hotel were excellent. We had our 7 months old daughter along with us. But everyone including Mr. Pradhan (Hotel Manager) were so helpful to make our stay very comfortable. Clearn river and beartiful swimming pool and sitting by the swimming pool you can see the sea waves in the distance. I would recomend this hotel for good peaceful, friendly and welcoming stay. I enjoyed very much the hospitability we received.

Mayfair Toofaraway

The hotel is too far away from everything and too pricey. Hot water problems for 3 days. Even with the river nearby, the rooms view on a kind of jungle. Nearly no garden for walking around. Modest but pleasant swimming pool.. Spacious rooms and the best flushing toilets ever seen in a hotel. Food rather OK, fair breakfast but too Indian as always.
