This could not be in a better location! Steps from the sea and shopping. Good restaurants. The staff here is exceptional. Very accommodating and always pleasant and helpful. If I had the option I would give them more than 5 stars. I highly recommend staying here.

One word comes to mind... SUPERB!!! Everything about the La Piazzetta Guest House was superb! The staff - Superb! The property - Superb! Accommodations/room - Superb! Location - Superb! My wife and I spent 10 days in Sorrento as our hub for touring the "toe of the boot", and we couldn't have picked a better hotel! Communication and texting with Caterina, Alessandra, and Pasquale was super easy. They are very responsive! We had breakfast every morning which is served from 8-10am, and for the mornings where we had an early tour before they were open for breadfast, they packed us a large goodie bag with pancakes, sandwiches, muffins, fruits, you name it! Our room was very spacious, and so clean. I mean this entire hotel is so clean and hardly shows signs of use. And it's super quiet. Our room was on the 2nd floor and each night we slept with our terrace door open - it was perfect! Location, location, location! The La Piazzetta GH is in the perfect location - everything is within walking distance, literally! Piazza Tasso, the bus/train station, the ferry station, the Sorrento Lift, Old Town, Marina Piccolo, Marina Grande, etc. And so many restaurants within walking distance. The week we were in Sorrento, it turns out was the "Sorrento Roads 1000 Miglia Vintage Car Show & Race." I'm a gear head to it was a pleasant surprise to experience this event! There is really nothing to dislike about the LPGH. Book this hotel without concerns... you'll love it as we did!!!

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff was so nice and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel is very near to everything you need and near all transportation. They have an elevator so you don't have to carry your luggage up the stairs which is very important for someone with back problems like me. Overall, we had a great time here.

Amazing service by the front desk team. Caterina was especially helpful and went above and beyond to make our trip perfect. We loved our room with the huge comfortable balcony. Super convenient location. Take the lift if you arrive by ferry. We highly recommend this place.

Only wonderful things to say about Sorrento and excellent words for Alexis, Caterina and colleagues at this charming and mint condition guest house. Friendly hosts that go out of their way to make us feel welcomed and contend during our recent stay. In places where some locals may seem a bit jaded by so many tourists, La Piazzetta stands out as an exception. We say this having zipped up and down Sorrento and the Amalfi coast. We are returning for another two nights! See you soon La Piazzetta!

Fantastic property - Christina was so welcoming and helped with organising ferry to Capri The location is perfect you can walk to everywhere , the valet parking service is outstanding they take your car away at the door and you just text when you want car . Can’t recommend this hotel enough

Perfect spot in Sorrento- highly recommend!!
Amazing property! Don't think twice about staying at La Piazzetta Guest House. Perfect location, very safe, amazing staff! They held our bags for us to accommodate extra time before the ferry to Naples and even helped call the ferry office to determine what time departure would be. The breakfast was served in room and felt extra special. Could even make out a silver of the sea and Vesuvius from our window. Will definitely stay here again if we are back in Sorrento!

Amazing Sorrento hotel!
Amazing hotel! If you are going to Sorrento, you must stay here. It’s perfectly situated a block from Piazza Tasso and the lift down to the waterfront. Caterina and the staff treat you like family. The rooms are open and airy and bright, and the breakfast is fantastic. 10 out of 10!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable; they were incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with any request. The cleanliness of the rooms was exceptional; I felt comfortable and relaxed throughout my stay. The attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness did not go unnoticed, and it added to the overall positive experience. The location of the hotel couldn’t have been better. It was conveniently situated, making it easy to explore the area and enjoy local attractions. Whether I wanted to explore the city or simply unwind, this hotel’s location was perfect. Our stay at La Piazzetta was great! The location was very convenient. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping and the water. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable (which haven’t been the case in many other Italian hotels). Caterina at the front was so wonderful. She was always happy to answer any questions we had and accommodate things like transportation or bringing cappuccinos and breakfast to our room in the morning! We will definitely stay here again when visiting Sorrento.

Alexandra and Caitlin were very friendly, resourceful. They help us even arrange for the transfer from Naples Train station to the hotel and also did same for our return. They work with very professional transfer company and driver was very polite and knowledgable of the area. on our way going to hotel driver even give us little tour about the area. He even stop in the very nice place with view and took several picture from us. They arranged for our tour to Positano and almafy and the driver was very knowledgable and give us very nice tour of different town. the room was very comfortable and uniqe cold enough for hot days. Highly recommend this to everyone.

An easy recommendation for any traveler coming to Sorrento. Well decorated, clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff with morning breakfast offered. Great location in the heart of Sorrento and near port or train station. We would definitely return to this guesthouse.

Our family of four vacationed for four weeks (one week in Iceland and three weeks in Italy), and La Piazzetta was by far, the best place we stayed in. Air conditioning was a top factor for us during the hot days we experienced, and the A/C was strong and powerful. Everything was very clean and the shower pressure was perfect and relaxing (our place in Venice and Rome had weak pressure in the shower). The location was ideal, right in the middle of shops and dining options as well as the beach clubs. Allessandra and Caterina were the best hosts, always eager and willing to attend to all our needs and always responding with a smile. We only wish we had stayed longer in Sorrento as it became our favorite place to stay for sun, fun, and food. We highly recommend La Piazzetta!

This hotel is in a great location, convenient to the lift to get to the pier and easy walking distance to shopping and dining. Katerina gave us the best check in experience we have ever had. She was welcoming, informative and even walked us to our room. Our room was large and had a balcony overlooking the plaza. We travelled for nearly a month over Italy, Switzerland, France and the UK, and the Piazzetta Guest House was our favorite stay of the trip.

Fantastic property in the best area! Conveniently located in the middles of everything - public transportation, shopping, dining and sites. The staff was wonderful and attentive and the room had a fantastic view of the square. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend this place. The location is perfect for exploring. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Above all the customer service was the best! Catarina definitely went above and beyond, providing great local recommendations. I would not hesitate to recommend this guest house to any of the friends and family and if we return to the area I’d book again. Super friendly staff

Great spot for families!
HIGHLY recommend staying here. La Piazzetta is located at the top of the lift from the marina and right on one of the main squares in Sorrento. Lots of food and shopping options are within a minute walk. Above that and why we (family of 5) recommend this hotel is the staff. Caterina was out main contact and she was PHENOMENAL. She helped with everything from check-in to getting around the city, dining recommendations and making sure we were comfortable while staying there. We also did not leave until late in the afternoon but were able to hold our luggage on the property to enjoy the day. The accommodations were also great for our family. We had plenty of space.

Even better than expected. Very comfortable room, comfortable beds, nice bathroom, etc. Both of our rooms also had a great view of the piazza and one also had a beautiful view of the sea. Nice breakfast and great staff.

We loved our stay at La Piazetta - the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the food was very good. Our rooms included breakfast in the morning and one of the mornings we were leaving before breakfast was served and they left us a little bag with sandwiches pastries and some fruit so we would have some food before leaving. There are many places to walk to and eat right by La Piazetta.

Very pleased with my stay
Super friendly and welcoming staff compared to every other place I’ve stayed in Amalfi. The location could not be any better, walking distance to train and ferry, plus lots of restaurants and shops outside. The room itself was very clean and it was equipped with everything needed.

Good spot, basic but just what we needed. Bed was small (double) but fine for a quick stay. Very clean. Staff were all very helpful. Breakfast was disappointing—coffee was bad and the room is quite stuffy. Could be an easy fix to serve a nice simple breakfast! Otherwise was good and we will be back.
