Very posh and felt like being in my own palace - the balcony was truly amazing for views and sunset dinner seeing the skyline of Sienna. Breakfast buffet was decadent and dinner service was superb. We were treated very well.

This is for sure the best Hotel in Siena. It's well worth it. The location is impeccable, the staff is great, the breakfast really good and the rooms are lovely. I really enjoyed our stay there. Will certainly stay there again.

The staff were outstanding. The food and drinks very good. The room had an amazing view and was very comfortable. Could use a little touch in some areas, but more cosmetic versus impacting comfort. It is a very old building, and they have done a great job keeping its character. It was very quiet for sleeping. The location could not be better. Everything is walkable. I can not wait to return - highly recommend!

Surprised it’s a Leading Hotel of the World. Not to the standard. It was ok but not great. The restaurant was also very average.

First class experience from the time we arrived to departure. Friendly staff, service to the highest extent. Breakfast was exceptional well prepared. The hotel is stunning! We truly enjoyed everything there! Irene was awesome’ can’t wait to revisit this hotel!

Good: The rooms are stunning, had the suite and it exceeded expectations, high ceilings and loads of wow factor, just something you don’t see everyday. The location was perfect. Front desk staff were lovely, bell boy was fantastic. Bad; Restaurant was really average had to send food back, couldn’t find staff when we needed to order something. Friend put in a small bag of laundry to get done at a ridiculously overcharged rate, with the hotel, they mixed all the dark colours and everything came back ruined, socks were missing. The staff did a terrible job dealing with it. Overall, this hotel has so much opportunity, it’s really unique, in a great location with some stunning features but the service, food and some of the tacky, tired sections of the hotel need some refurbishment and love to restore to its glory. Won’t be returning unfortunately.

Luxury rich in History
The grand continental is absolutely beautiful and rich in history. The location is perfect. The woman who checked us in, was extremely helpful with offering best uses of our time and assistance in purchasing tickets. Everyone at the hotel is gracious, and the food is delicious I would definitely recommend Stay at the grand continental hotel

The location was exceptional. Breakfast was excellent. Expected a little more from a 5 star hotel. No fancy lobby. Nothing offered that we didn’t get from a 4 star hotel. When we checked out, not even asked if we enjoyed our stay.
