Sunny View Cottage in the Beautiful Wine Country

*We are finally back! Our son and family have moved into their new home after the 2017 Tubbs fire.

Freshly updated two bedroom cottage attached to the main house. Cottage includes full kitchen and bath, granite counter tops, tile and hardwood floors. Located in a quiet, country neighborhood with surrounding vineyards.

Stay inside and enjoy access to wireless internet, HD TVs, a cabinet of board games or let the kids go outside and play on the large lawns. Cottage includes full kitchen, dining, living room, bath with washer & dryer, master bedroom with king bed, guest room with king bed, queen sofa bed, keyless front door.

Full access to a beautifully landscaped property with more than fifty rose bushes.

Within less than 3.5 miles you will find 8 wineries as we are located in Sonoma County's Russian River Valley wine region.

- 15 min to Armstrong Woods – take a leisurely walk through majestic giant redwoods
- 20 min to Korbel Champagne Tasting Room
- 10 min to Kendall Jackson Winery
- 20 Min to Healdsburg and the Dry Creek Valley wine region and 45 minutes to Napa
- 22 miles to Bodega Bay’s sandy beaches and dunes
- Bicycle enthusiasts will find that the cottage is a perfect launching point for riding through the wine country as we are located just a mile off Levi Leipheimer’s King Ridge GranFondo route.
- At the edge of the property a pathway meanders through more than 100 acres of neighboring vineyards, perfect for an evening stroll, sit along the vineyard reservoir and watch the sunset. (sorry closed due to Covid-19)
- For an elegant meal you can make a reservation and head a minute down the road to the highly rated Walter Hansel Wine & Bistro, the Barlow in Sebastopol is great for restaurants, wine tasting and outdoor shops or for a casual meal head a few minutes into town for a Taqueria or maybe stop at Simply Vietnam.

A great place to acclimatise after 8 hour time change
This is a lovely homely place with all amenities that we needed to get over the 8 hour time change from the UK and prepare ourselves for our 4000 mile road trip to Canada and back over the next 4 weeks. A lovely country feel cottage that is only a short drive into town. The house was comfortable, equipped with kitchen necessities and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The water was hot and the air conditioning was cold. Perfect. We will try to go back.

Serene and convenient
Only 30ish minutes from Armstrong Redwoods, hikes near Bodega Bay, and the family events we needed to get to. The place was bright, well appointed, and peaceful on a lovely, quiet street. The mattresses are on the softer side, but we like that. I booked months in advance and every question I had before arriving was quickly answered. The house was perfect for us.

I was looking for a property to rent due to the death of my brother-in-law. I contacted Lynn, informed her of my sutuation, and she graciously agreed to hold the property for a couple of days so I could determine who was staying with us. The property and the surroundings are beautiful. It's quiet and peaceful. The unit is also very nice, clean, and tastefully decorated. It has all the amenities you would ever need. It's perfect. Great place!
Sunny View Cottage is comfortable, well-equipped, and charming. The location is quiet and rural but very close to great wineries, restaurants (we loved Walter Hansel’s Bistro, just around the corner), and hiking/biking trails. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

Lovely Cottage in the Country
My husband and I truly enjoyed staying at Sunny Cottage. It was Spacious, clean, lots of amenities including a huge clothes washer and dryer. Thanks Lynn and Roger! :-) The cottage location is in the country side surrounded by greenery. Easy access to Healdsburg where we spent a lot of time at tastings and restaurants. We also drove to The Barlow which offered an array of more eats and retail. It rained a lot, so, we’ll be back when the sun is shining!

After a long week of work in LA the week before, this was a great place to relax and recuperate. Close to many wineries in the area for quick tasting trips. It was also quiet at night, allowing me to catch up on some much needed rest. I had to work some remotely and the internet worked great

Convenient location in the wine country.
Back for a second time to this very well furnished, clean, and set up location. We prefer Sonoma County to Napa when we visit Northern California, which is often, and this is a really fine central location.

I cannot say enough good things about Sunny View Cottage! It was spotless, perfect size, quiet location and the bed was spectacular! We were able to easily access wineries in all directions along with grocery, bank, etc. Loved seeing the horses and dogs on our street as well! BEST PLACE EVER FOR LONG TERM RENTAL
I cannot say enough good things about this delightful two bedroom cottage. A perfect, quite location, with easy access to downtown Santa Rosa and all of the Sonoma wine regions. The best equipped kitchen I have ever encountered. The beds and the living areas are very comfortable. Quit looking, this is the place!

We were a group of 5: 2 Adults and 3 Children (ages 8,6,2). We had plenty of room. The apartment is nicely furnished. Beds are very comfortable. Quiet street. Centrally located to everywhere we wanted to go. We enjoyed our stay!
