The property itself is lovely. The room was terrific, and the bed super-comfy.
What made this a 1-star trip? When we checked in at 1:37 am Saturday after a double-overtime football game, the desk staff (doing her best) told us our Expedia charge had not gone through, and our only course of action was to pay $200 out of pocket and seek a refund for our prepaid room. Which is still unresolved, two days later. And *we’re* being asked for the overcharge documentation?!?! Not sure who dropped the ball here - the hotel or Expedia - but this does not sit well.
