The room was not same as it's shown on photos

I've traveled quite a lot but this was the worst hotel I've ever stayed. After staying at this hotel for 3nights, I realised that a bad hotel makes the memory of your trip bad too. If my friends go to Phnom Penh, I will not recommend this hotel to stay. The reasons are below: 1. The bathroom smells bad!!! Plus, the shower drain was blocked for a whole my stay. I asked the receptionist to tell the cleaner to unblock. Never done. 2. The room is next to some work and it's noisy in the morning. I woke up before 8am with the work noise and worker's humming! 3. No internet connection in a room. I had to go to a common area which is outside. So many mosquito bites. 4. I asked to change the room due to the reasons above and I kept being said that tomorrow is available not today. Never become available. 5. The room cleaning was not done in the evening. So I asked to do. Well, the room was more dirty after cleaning, especially in the bathroom. 6. There is an outside party every night. remember? No internet connection in a room. You have to go next to the party to check your emails. I give one star because the hotel staff were nice and friendly, but all the other points, NO.

Just had a wonderful week long stay at the Grange. Upon checking in I was given a choice of rooms which I was able to inspect beforehand. The staff will take care of anything you might need and the pool was great after a hot day out. Highly recommend!

We tended to keep to ourselves which was facilitated by Toney and his polite staff, but it was evident lots of longer term residents enjoyed the quiet colonial atmosphere as much as we did. Very much aa safe home from home and a bit of a sanctuary. Maa the remorgue driver was excellent although we mostly used the Garb app. Several lovely places to eat and socialize within 200m. CRAFT, SHOP, KOKI etc...The location is just perfect..

Une bonne adresse

Un hôtel très bien situé, confortable, à taille humaine où l'on peut se sentir comme à la maison. Le personnel est au petit soin, efficace et très gentil. Le seul bémol serait le bruit de la piscine et du restaurant "parfois", le soir et le week end (voix forte et cri d'enfants)

This hotel was truly amazing. It was so spacious and even the balcony was huge. The pool was large and great but lots of kids splashing and jumping each day makes it hard for the adults to use unfortunately. Food was good and more expansive menu than I thought. The staff was so so nice that was great. We were able to leave our bags for our time on Koh rong and wait for our flight there. Wifi worked great and free waterfill. Cant recommend this hotel enough we couldnt believe how nice it was for the price, you dont find this a lot in SE Asia

Really friendly staff. As I’m a night owl and the room allocated to me did not suit they were very understanding and obliging in upgrading my room for the entire length of my stay. Not much in the immediate area but reasonably central and not far in a tuk tuk in any direction to various entertainment areas if that’s what you’re interested in. Not a hectic place which is what I enjoy!

Rude owner and did NOT feel safe.

When we checked in we were shown our room did not lock. We immediately said we weren’t comfortable staying in a room without a lock and were offered a different room for one night. We were assured it would be fixed the next day or we could have a refund. To cut a long story short, the lock was not fixed. We spent all of the next day going back and forth to the door being told repeatedly it was fixed. When we asked for a refund the owner became aggressive and said “if you aren’t happy to leave all your belongings here without a lock, then we don’t want you here anyway”. This then continued until the owner walked off mid conversation and told us to “piss off back to England”. By this point it was clear we weren’t welcome, so we left without a refund. In summary we did not feel safe here (two young female travellers). There’s no excuse for such rudeness. Owners clearly did not care of the guest comfort, well-being and safety and it was a relief to leave. If you are looking for a clean, friendly, welcoming, safe hotel… this is NOT for you.

Effectivement comme lu dans commentaires , des hommes âgés très présents ... Lors de notre départ, alors que nous avions déjà réglé la note, on a voulu nous faire payer une bière que nous n'avions pas consommé , suite à notre refus , regards soupçonneux et hostiles.

Paradise in the middoe of a city

A little piece of paradise in the middle of a busy city. A quiet place but right in the middle of all the attractions. Short walks to everything of interest. Staff could not do enough, clean and spacious room. Only thing was bed was a little hard for my taste. Will be back!!

Wonderful accomodation with super helpful and friendly staff. Location was perfect to nearby attractions and on a quiet street. Restaurant was excellent. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

A very well run and comfortable small hotel in the heart of the city. Quiet and close to many sites to see. Walk to Parks, Royal Palace, Wats and Riverside.

Mysigt hotell centralt med härlig trädgård o pool.

Vi är så glada att vi hittade Villa Grange i Phnom Pehn, det låg jätte centralt men ändå på en lugn gata, med en mur runt trädgården med pool och även en bubbelpool, mysig trädgård och en jätte bra resturang och super trevlig och mysig personal! Det vart lite av vår ”fri-zon” i denna mysiga men trånga/smutsiga/ röriga huvudstad!

La atencion del personal, como todos en Cambodia es excelente. Me dieron una cerveza como welcome drink al check in que me gusto. Deberian considerar ponerle cobertor a los colchones. Me dio muchisima picazon y no logre dormir nada. Las sabanas necesitan una buena lavada y los colchones / muebles de la habitacion una buena asoleada y lavada con wipes de clorox y claro, el cobertor para los colchones. El vecino de la habitacion de arriba paso la noche entera moviendo muebles y no fue muy bueno. Unas chancletas de caucho que se puedan lavar para poder entrar al bano que no tiene division entre ducha y lavamano. El desayuno bien, los precios bien. Buenisima ubicacion.

Great Place & Great Value

The staff here were amazing and the establishment had thought about things from the traveller’s point of view. Good breakfast, reasonably priced laundry service, a good menu and bar that was essentially open from 7.00am to 11.00pm.

Amazing Place to Stay

Excellant service,food and staff. Centrally located with a very nice atmosphere. Would stay here again and do not hesitate recommending to others. The Manager Moogii was super in overseeing all details during our stay and I believe is responsible for the great service provided by this hotel.

Good place for a one or two night stay

Staff were very friendly and accommodating to our late night check-in. The welcome beer next to the pool was a nice treat. Chose this hotel mostly for location which didn’t disappoint, being about a 5 minute walk to the Royal Palace, Independence Monument, and the start of Riverside. If you prefer not to walk there’s also a tuktuk driver on site. Rooms were okay, bed was comfortable but sheets had some permanent stains. Bathroom was dark and looked old, but water pressure and temperature were good. The breakfast area was quaint and the food was great with a nice selection of choices. Overall it’s a decent price and quality for a few nights stay.

Enjoyable holiday

We had a great 3 days stay. The host was great even went out an bought a hair dryer at 8 in the evening as the room didn't have one. Would recommend it.

Relaxing stay

Set in a quiet street close to all sites, lovely setting around a pool, food was well presented and tasty, prices reasonable. One of the best I have stayed in Phnom Penh

A Top Spot

I enjoyed a homely stay here thanks to Tony ,Sara and staff. Stayed in a ground floor room which was a bit small but it's design made up for that. User friendly easy access bathroom with a hot rain-forest shower. The tasty home cooked food here was delightful. Lovely breakfast and the delicious Tasmanian Steak were well worth trying. Close enough to the city but just outside the rat race.

Returning to the former good old days

Recently the hotel has changed hands a couple of times. New Owner Tony is committed to returning the Grange to being the best boutique hotel in the area. Rooms being reconditioned, new rooms being built and available later in the year. Breakfast needs a small improvement to the quality of the ingredients.But it was good to see maintenance on the pool being taken on and the surrounds still as beautiful as ever. I tried the room service menu on the last night and felt very satisfied by the quantity and quality.I felt fully refreshed after my 3 days.

Excellent place to stay on Phonm Penh

It is a great place to stay. The front common area near the pool is cozy, separated away from the road by a high wall. The room and bathroom were clean with nice linens. The staff are an excellent medley of kind, courteous locals and knowledgeable expats who more than once went out of their way to help me during my stay. Great stay, will definitely stay here again.

Close but also quiet

Great location right next to the Royal Palace. Rooms are large, clean and well appointed. Very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere

J'avais la chambre au rez de chaussée au bord de la piscine super mais, quand je suis arrivé (vers 13h, un homme (guest?) était dans la piscine. Il téléphonait sans arrét en hurlant ou parlait avec le staff ou les clients avec la même voix. Il est sorti de l'eau et s'est tu vers minuit : enfin, j'ai pu dormir

Not what i was expecting for the price

I chose this hotel because it looked nice in the photos, was in a quiet area and it had a pool. I never used the pool once, as the owner of the hotel was in it, for about 9 hours a day, talking loudly on his phone, and i didn't feel comfortable going in there.

Er wordt een deel aangebouwd dus er is veel lawaai. De kamer die wij hadden, was verouderd, niet schoon en er waren dingen kapot. Prijs/kwaliteit slecht. Het ontbijt was ronduit waardeloos. Niet aan te bevelen.
