Location was perfect. The room was right on the main square and very comfortable. Some street noise if that bothers you, for me it was no problem. I would be very happy to stay here again.

Very nice hotel perfectly renovated. Good location. But very noisy. no isolation between rooms. you hear all about your neighbors and the street activity.

As central as you can get!
This hotel is right on Deribasovskaya, the main street downtown. You can't get more central than that. Everything is within walking distance. It can be a bit noisy in the evenings, but if you close the window and turn on the A/C, it's surprisingly quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bathroom felt a bit cramped, but not so bad. The hotel begins on the 3rd floor, and there's no lift. If you arrive after hours, you need to ring the bell and wait for someone to come downstairs and let you in. After check-in, you get a key to let yourself in anytime. There's a small fridge and minibar with a few items I never used. There was no chair in my room, but they gave me one when I asked. The wifi isn't the fastest, but it works well enough. It's a fairly new hotel, and they were still doing some minor remodeling. The price was great!

We stayed in this hostel for 3 nights and we highly recommend it. It is located in an excellent location on the main street where all of the restaurants, bars, and liveliness is located. Our room was very clean and in excellent condition. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The air conditioner kept our room very cool in the summer, as low as 59 degrees in the summer. The water pressure in the shower is excellent and the hot water never runs out. During our time here there was construction work being done at this hotel but it did not affect our stay. We would happily stay here again on a return trip.

Хорошее обслуживание, чистота, ежедневная качественная уборка, центр города, хорошее телевидение и Wi-Fi, минибар, чай. Но идущий ремонт, пятый этаж без лифта, сильный запах канализации в номере, до тошноты, особенно по утрам, что испортило все впечатления.

Official Part-time "Odessian" ))
As a frequent traveler to Odessa since 2008, I am very familiar with the positives and negatives associated with apartment renting and hotel stays in this city. I can honestly say that Hotel Deribas was a very pleasant and comforting experience. I stayed here 4 weeks during the New Years and holiday season (cold!), and was always comfortable and relaxed staying at this hotel. Good security system for entry at night, 24-hour front desk, good housekeeping, good water pressure and always hot water... all of these might sound like simple basics, but in Ukraine, these can be unreliable and disappointing at far too many locations. And speaking of location, across the street from City Garden on Deribasovskaya--it doesn't get much better! And price was very fair for the "Deluxe" business room. My only suggestion is to provide a microwave oven in the wet bar area. I will definitely stay here again.

Lovely place
I arrived as a last minute change of plan at the Deribas. The room was small but clean and warm. The bed large and first class. The girls I met in the staff were lovely, very kind, very courteous, I would happily recommend to those who travel as myself.

Worst ever
NO elevator, hotel on the 4th floor, no lobby. Rooms are tiny not edequatly equipped. Staff are the worst people you meet in the Ukraine. I reserved my room on the web, when I arrived they requested cash payment. For safety I do not travel with lot of cash. I regret asking for management because she was not better then the front desk who did not speak a word of English. Most hotel in the Ukraine receptionist speak some English if not good English. They had I do not care attitude. I was embarrassed in front of my girlfriend and her 2 kids. The following day I moved to the Ekaterina hotel in which I loved and as a matter of fact was cheaper. I promised the staff to book my next visit with them in the same room. Trust me if I say this, you would not like this hotel. I travel all over the Ukraine in last year, at least once a month. This hotel has the worst service you can imagine.

Thank you for your review, we would like to add the following comments to it: 1. There are different room categories in the apartments. So that room size depends on the type of chosen room. For example, standard rooms are about 15 m2 and more; Apartment room is about 60 m2) 2 . All the rooms ( including economy rooms) are equipped with air conditioning, mini -bars, plasma TVs, beds with orthopedic mattresses. There are also slippers, soap, shower gel, towels and hair-driers in each room. 3 . Most of the staff speaks English. 4 . We also accept credit cards for guests' convenience. We hope to welcome you back

Everything Brilliant, English speaking staff
A very comfortable and convenient Apart-Hotel, right in the centre of Odessa city.Very close to everything that you could want and not too far to get to the Black Sea Beach either! Parking a little difficult because it is pedestrianised, but I managed to park within 100m.
