I've stayed at many Hyatt's before but the one in the city was by far the worst. Only staff that was actually nice and helpful was Rosa at the front desk. Every other person was far from useful. The TV and the phone in the room wasn't working during my entire stay. It took them two days to finally inform me that they would change my room. I felt it was a hassle to transfer to the same type of room, especially since I only stayed there for 4 nights, so I declined the offer and stayed in the run-down room I originally got. I would expect for a well-known hotel like the Hyatt to at least try upgrading my new room so that I may take time out of my trip and move to a different room but that unfortunately did not happen. Also, the cleaning ladies were coming and knocking super early on my door and opening it almost every morning? I was a bit caught off guard on the fact that they abruptly just open people's hotel doors like that. Overall, my stay was overpriced for the service and experience I got. Not worth it at all and would definitely not be staying at the grand central location again.
