「We stopped here on our way to Shenandoah. It was a last minute find for our family of six (teens and you adult kids). We got in at 7 went to eat at Benders and played trivia and darts. Had a great walk by the vineyard behind the house and the civil war park. Host was great and responsive. Could see this as a great location for a Girls weekend too.」

「I really can't rave enough about the stay we had at this beautiful mountain haven! We were here on a 3-generation family vacation - my father in law has great interest in Civil War history and this home was perfectly situated to get to many sites easily. We all loved this house! Secluded, quiet, peaceful with gorgeous natural surroundings. We were seriously obsessed with the design and decor inside. Everyone thought the beds were amazingly comfortable. Great view off the deck. Multiple TVs. A French press & water kettle available if you bring coffee & tea. Water cooler worked well. Not as secluded* as exterior pictures indicate. Exceptionally well appointed and very updated (in fact it appears to be brand new). Communication was great, we had zero issues.
