Restored stone barn, retaining its original charm with exposed stone and beams, facing the mountains in the heart of the Aspe Valley (Béarn Pyrenees). Perched on a promontory above the village, in a peaceful setting, a magnificent panorama unfolds before you, whether viewed from the terrace or through the windows: nature is all around. This detached house commands a commanding view. Recently renovated, the interior offers all modern comforts, beautiful materials, and a clean, minimalist style. Ground floor: Bright 50 m² living area comprising: - Kitchen area with island (fridge-freezer, dishwasher, induction hob, microwave, filter coffee maker and Nespresso machine, raclette grill) - Lounge area (wood-burning stove, TV). 4G dongle (WiFi internet connection). - Shower room (large shower, single sink, washing machine). Separate WC. Your pet is welcome, but please keep an eye on it as the barn is surrounded by animals (donkeys, goats, cats, and dogs from the neighboring house where you will be staying). Garden furniture, barbecue, deck chairs. Numerous hiking trails are accessible from this location. 600 meters away, in the village, is the valley's ecomuseum, where you can discover the pastoral traditions of this region. All amenities are available in Arette (9 km). Oloron-Sainte-Marie (train station, cathedral) is 22 km away. The Somport Pass (cross-country skiing, Spain) is 45 km away. Facing the mountains, in the heart of the Aspe Valley, in the Béarn Pyrenees, this renovated barn blends charm and tradition with comfort and modernity, in a preserved natural setting.
