Great place to stay within 15min walk of the beach
Excellent property for the price. Excellent and always smiling guest service. Distance from Cenang Beach: 15 min walk Breakfast could be better.

Cure little place
A but further from the beach and main shopping strip than I thought, Pool area lovely but can be to noisy when kids there. Ants found there way to bathroom. Reception guy lovely but English not great. Overall lovely place.

My family stayed for 3 nights(19-21/12/2018) and it was a lovely experience from the word go. I called to say we were arriving late, and immediately arrangements made. Two staffs greeted us at check in facilitated a speedy check in.They also recommended a great mangrove trip with BARD which we enjoyed so much. The housekeeping staffs were courteous and helpful, complimented by the three staffs that prepared our morning meals. Breakfast was ample for the family, there are selection of Asian and Western dish at the buffet. The location was easily accessible, the gardens are well maintained.Our room were clean and comfortable. It is nice and quiet to relax Kudos to the three friendly staffs that made our stay memorable, Nazri Mazli and Izzaida. They gave us great tips to local meals and activities. Theres a night market about 50m every Thursday night Given these experiences, we will definitely mention n recommend Chantique resort to our friends. Given the chance, will definitely come back soon.

Short Trip
Small hotel with cosy rooms and nice little salt water pool. Hotel is a bit far away from the beach which was no issue for us because we rented a motor scooter.

Perfect location and amazing staff
I had an amazing stay here at langkawi chantique. The location was perfect, short 10-15 min walk to the beach. The staff were very helpful and professional. Perfect stay. Thank you for having us.

Overall, a great stay, friendly staff, daily room service and complimentary breakfast. Location was great only a 5min drive into Cenang Beach. Breakfast however could be improved.

Better than expected
The staff were polite and make sure to greet us when we walk pass. Food was surprisingly good especially the pancakes! We love the pancakes. The place is close to beach if you drive. If you walk it would take quite sometime. The room is better and bigger than expected. Toilet is clean and big as well. The bed is comfortable.

Budget Hotel - Good staff but bad facilities
Didn't have the hotel experience as it was more of a budget hotel rather than a resort. Okay let's address point by point based on my stay and experience. Reviews - Entirely biased & flawed, most likely they were given by travelers who were given free stays or something in return. Actually, we got fooled based on the Hotels.com reviews!!! Breakfast - Virtually namesake, with tables & chairs at a garden shed with bread, jams, eggs, juice and coffee(hot water). I am not kidding here! Location - Few kilometeres yes not a walking distance for family with kids to Cenang mall or main cenang street which is as advertised on the site! You need to take a Taxi which inturn adds to the cost of going anywhere around the place! Swimming Pool - Salt water, ironically not mentioned anything about this in the advertisedment! I didn't my kids to get into the pool. Period Room - Completely no design sense for the rooms with pathetic Air conditioning system making a good nights sleep a major challenge. The beds are placed on a giant concrete tiled frames which are dangerous for my small kids. I was lucky that my child didn't get any major injury by tripping. Television has a couple of channels not a wide range so forget that part too. Good things. The only thing we can write about is the staff who are quite nice, approachable and courteous. If you are planning to book this hotel to save a few bucks then I would recommend it is not worth it.

Great hotel!
This is a great boutique hotel slightly out of the Centre of town. They serve a great breakfast and the service of all the staff was excellent! I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone. Lovely pool and within walking distance of the night market on a Thursday.

Good hotel to stay
Good hotel to stay in langkawi. Little bit far from the beach but they have free shuttle service and nice staff who can call the taxi for you.

Cozy chalet styled resort
The resort is basically individual rooms/ chalet units together. A small establishment which allowed the stay to be much more personal. Staff was always very helpful in catering to request or to extend help. Rooms were a little run down but well kept. Bed was a little uncomfortable and the pillows were a little flat. Mindful as this is a resort styled place, there would be mosquitos and lizards around. The fan in the room together with the air-con was well appreciated. We got a corner room at the back which was really quiet and nice. I would expect those along the walkway or breakfast area to be a little noisy at certain times. Overall a very good experience and would definitely visit again.

good stay
one of better hotels to stay on the island. Two things need to improve, breakfast quality and they need to remove ridicules long check in and check out process... on check out they wanted to check my room before i go in case if we used mini bar etc... i find that totally unnecessary and insulting especially as they take credit card deposit on arrival.

Beautiful peaceful little villas
Could not recommend this place enough, the staff were so lovely and always smiling and there ready to help and they have an excellent shuttle service that takes you to the beach free of charge every day. The breakfast included is a lovely selection of local and western food served by the friendly staff. The rooms were such a great bargain for the price paid and had lovely balcony areas with a table and chairs which was a great way to sit and spend the evening although inside the room was equally lovely and very spacious with good air con and tv! Thank you for a wonderful stay, will definitely be back!

Nice hotel with good staff
I was received well, I was hungry and they helped me order pizza from our side the hotel. Room was very clean and neat, wifi was good and fast. Will be nice if they had a long mirror on the wall or something. Breakfast was ok, the hotel is small so don't expect anything big for breakfast but was good.

Overall Experiece in Chantique
The first day was quite a turn off for me personally cos the air con and wifi wasn't working on the first day in the room . Thank god there was a ceiling fan and lobby's wifi was working fine . When we went out that afternoon , we told the hotel staff about it and they said that they'll look into the next day , during room cleaning . The next day , when we came back , room was done up neat and tidy and air con was superbly cold . Wifi was super fast , better than my 4G . Satisfied but sad that first day was bad . But that's absolutely ok . Gotta comment on the hotel staff . They were fantastic . My friends and I were treated like VIPs I swear . All the hotel staff greeted and smiled at us whenever they saw us . They went the extra mile or everything which is highly commendable . Thumbs up Nazri and team . :) When we stayed , the night market was quite near . So we had lotsa good food to bring back and eat in the hotel . We rented a car the first day up till the next day 6pm . Cenang beach and mall is in walking distance . So if you are planning to just stay in Cenang , you can just use the free shuttle the hotel provides to the beach and mall . Car / Bike wouldn't be necessary . We travelled to Kuah . So car was very useful . Overall , the hotel was just nice for what you pay . It's only 3 years old so it is relatively clean and new . The hotel takes great effort in landscaping . I may come back to this hotel if I ever come back to Cenang in Langkawi .

Nice clean chic chalet
Overall it was a good & pleasant stay. Staffs were very friendly and accommodating. Love the garden/swimming area deco. Breakfast was decent, with simple meals but delicious. Room was clean and spacious. The only negative comment would be that - there were many lizards outside the house (at night), which I totally understand because its a chalet. But on the positive side, no lizards/insects inside the chalet or any outside during daytime.

Frühstückbuffett Inclusive war sehr ausreichend und große Auswahl, Ausstattung Top und Neu und Gehoben ( für malaysische Verhältnisse), Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, Sauberer großer Pool mit vielen Liegen und Auflagen, viele kleine Zimmer und „Bungalows“ in einer kleinen sauberen und gepflegten Anlage, tolle Lobby mit netten Empfang und kühlen Getränken, Taxi nach Cenang Beach dauert 5 min und ist bei Anruf von Reception sofort da (kostet 10 RM), Taxi nach Kuah Ferry Terminal 35 min Fahrt kostet 30-35 RM). Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die direkte Lage an der Hauptstrasse, nachts laut durch knatterMoppeds, sonst alles Tippi Toppi

Meget hjælpsomt og venligt personale, alt skinnende rent, både ude og inde - langt bedre end forventet. Morgenmad beskeden, men OK. Hotellet har ingen restaurant, der er ret langt at gå til nærmeste spisesteder.
