大学に隣接したハイレベルなホテル
ランカスター大学での調査目的だったので、キャンパスに隣接したこのホテルを選びました。ランカスターの駅から遠いので夜中に着いたらタクシーで行くしかないかと思っていましたが、大学行きのバスはたくさん出ていたのでバスで行きました。ただ駅からバス停までは、グーグルマップを頼りに雨の中を歩かなければなりませんでしたが。大学キャンパスのバス停から、ちょっと見つけにくかったですが、それほど離れているわけではありません。到着してからホテルで夕食を食べるつもりでしたが、ホテルのレストランが９時までと閉まるのが早くギリギリでした。価格の割にはグレードの高いホテルで、部屋は綺麗で広く、快適でサービスもよかったです。

We’ve just returned from a stay at the hotel to visit our son at the university. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff are so friendly and helpful and we very much enjoyed the fabulous spa facilities. 10/10, we’ll definitely be back.

My daughter and I stayed Saturday 6th January due to cancellation of the Isle of Man ferry. It was much better than we were expecting and we both loved the log fire in the foyer. We had dinner in the main restaurant which was very good.

Would happily stay again.
Well maintained and a welcoming environment. Spa was lovely to us and not over crowded. We ate lunch in the bar, slightly over priced but not unexpected for a hotel bar.

The hotel has a very homely feel; warm and inviting. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The only negative is the location outside of town, so you pretty much need a car to get around. Otherwise I would highly recommend this lovely hotel.

enjoyed a one night stay at Lancaster House Hotel. Good to see all the Christmas decorations up and impressed with the professionalism of the staff there. The main reason though I wanted to come back to this hotel is the Sandpiper Club facilities which include a pool and hot tub.

Appalling booking out procedure. Attempted to charge me twice for breakfast plus automatic charge for plant a tree and would not have charged me the car parking fee if i booked direct - told it was in the small print. Very rude money grabbing hotel with staff attitude of "Nothing to do with us"

Trip to a wedding in the depths of Lancashire
The hotel is in a beautiful setting and all of the public areas and facilities were reasonably well maintained. Our room was comfortable, the bedding and towels were of a good quality. The bathroom needed some attention however to bring it up to date. There were dirty finger marks on the door which had definitely been there for some time as they were quite ingrained . I don't think that I have seen shower curtains used in hotels for some considerable time..... Dinner in the restaurant on our first night was ok but having been asked on arrival about allergies/intolerences and again on entry to the restaurant it was annoying to find that any choice was limited in fact only the soup was dairy free on the starters and the main course only some fish, unless I wanted sorbet there was nothing appropriate for dessert. Breakfast was good and well presented however the lack of Muesli surprised me. We travel for business and leisure several times per year and therefore use Hotels.com for ease and quality. I don't remember us being charged for, on site hotel parking as a separate charge because we hadn't booked via the group or hotel direct ever before......Fortunately we could afford to pay but some were shocked and out of pocket due to this.

Ho soggiornato 5 giorni in una suite monolocale luxury e non e’ stata proprio una bella esperienza. La camera era posta al piano terra con le persone che praticamente camminano davanti alla finestra. Per 5 giorni ho dovuto tenere le tende chiuse per mantenere un po’ di privacy vivendo con le luci fioche dei faretti interni alla camera. Odio l’assenza di una buona illuminazione. Non mi piace fare questioni di soldi ma devo dire che non merita i soldi spesi. E stato un soggiorno sofferto. Non credo ci metterò più piede per quanto possa essere comoda la vicinanza all’università dove ho mia figlia. Nulla da eccepire sul personale che e’ molto cortese.

It was very nice, cool interior, staff was very friendly. Rooms were nice and clean. There was construction in the room next to me so that was a bit loud at times but not a big deal. Not easily accessible on foot.

Lovely stay
Had a lovely stay, expecially how dog friendly the hotel was. The hotel was beautiful however i was slightly disappointed with to room, there was mold on the windows, cracks in the tiles in the bathroom. Over all i felt my room was dated. However would not prevent me from returning

The staff and food were both very good. The accommodation seemed a bit tired and the walls were very thin. You could clearly hear people in the next door room talking and unfortunately their conversation went on all night!!!

Nice property close to the university. Regular buses into town make it convenient. Expected more for the price - small things in room did not work; light above bed, TV remote needed new batteries, no tissues (box empty), tiny towels, very old fashioned shower / lack of towel rails. Oh and the £12 charge for parking seemed steep given paid for a room.

As expected, food was very good in the bar and breakfast. Bathroom very tired for 4 star, needs a refit. Tea & coffee in room good quality.

You wouldnt expect the parking being charged when the hotel has an inhouse parking with nobody manning it. This is a steal from the customers and not worth the money.
