Lovely grounds with fine views. Quiet. Clean. Well provisioned rooms. Lovely breakfast in very nice oak panelled club house room. Nice friendly staff. Great value. Close to lovely scenery and the hills.

I am sorry that you were disappointed to be in the disabled room, but as I said when you queried it that we view this room as our best with access to the garden. Unfortunately as we are a golf club rather than a hotel we do not offer room service. I hope that this did not impact on your stay. Karen

I am sorry that there was a problem with the Wi-Fi in your room and will speak to our IT man to try to rectify the problem. Unfortunately we do not operate the dining room on all days because we are a golf club rather that a hotel.

Lovely
Staff couldn't do enough! Such a lovely team. I booked the incorrect week as I was traveling for work & had my dates mixed up. The manager & staff couldn't have been more helpful. They found me a room right away & took all the stress away. Thank you :)!

Excellent
Rooms are excellent with lots of space. En-suite facilities very good. Would definitely recommend this place and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if I was in the area. Only slight criticism would be the lack of bedside lights- had to turn off the lights at the far end of the room and cross to the bed in the dark

be warned, do not stay for business
terrible reception on arrival, not in the least customer friendly. be warned if you do not book breakfast at time of booking then the earliest available is 10am, this is definitely not for business travellers

Thank you for taking the time to write and I am sorry we did not meet your expectations. We are normally praised for our staff so I am very sorry to see they did not perform to their usual standard and I will share this review.I am sorry we could not offer breakfast. The Dormy House is on the golf club grounds so we are reliant on them being open or need to book in advance. Sorry we did not meet your expectations on this occasion.

Nice room, more attention to detail needed.
Lovely room, couple issues with room 2, hole in floor beneath carpet as you come through room door catches you out each time, you can’t sit on the toilet as too close to the wall and radiator, pillows had lost all stuffing and were so flat each side of the pillowcase touched the other, toilet had poo splatter on underside of the seat and rim.

Beautiful building and location. Set on a golf course so very green, spacious and peaceful. Very flexible around my needs. My rooms looked out onto the golf course and was very private

Great apartments at Woodsome hall, well built and good quality fixtures, breakfast was included and was delicious. We arrived in the rain and in the dark so finding the lane that took you to the cottages was a mission but very pleased once there! Gorgeous grounds and a 12th century Manor House to peruse was divine

Delightful quiet accommodation.
The accommodation was new, very clean and well presented. Views over the golf course were delightful. Breakfast freshly cooked to order and very tasty. You follow signs for the golf course and check in at the club bar, which caused a little confusion. The bar and restaurant were reasonably priced, but there is nowhere else in walking distance. If I was in the area would I stay there again, definitely.

After a long drive from London I was initially very disappointed to find no reception and nobody around when I got to the hotel, I gave some very negative feedback but feel a bit guilty now because the staff and other residents made up for it and were very nice and friendly, just need a recption

A serene and peaceful stay, highly recommended
Absolutely a perfect location from which to discover West Yorkshire. The staff were so friendly, the facilities clean and all you need for an overnight stay. The rooms were away from the main clubhouse and you could drive to your front door.

my quirky stay in the snow
well, at first, I was puzzled as I arrived and could not get through the big gates; however, they eventually opened. It's a beautiful place and I saw it in the heavy snow. The fully functioning 16th century manor occupied by a golf club is a delight, even for a non-golfer. The room was amazing even though it was not a part of the main building. I recommend that gents wear a tie and jacket if they want to get into the club bar (outdated, especially if you're paying to stay and have no idea of the rules) Anyway the stay was great and if you like eccentric, quirky places then this is defiantly for you. oh’ and the Breakfast is to die for.

Nice stay
Arrived around 6 & could not find the entrance. There is no hotel reception so I got the keys from the bar. Stayed at the dorm seperate to the main building. Rooms are very modern & clean. The only downside is the location. Taxi or drive to any local restaurants, shops or bars. Clubhouse restaurant serves really nice food though.
