Very accommodating

They were very accommodating. I Drink decaf and can’t eat pork or onions and they made sure everything was just right. I also appreciated the bottle water in the room.

Location was terrific in relationship to the airport. Dinner recommendation was excellent. Host was very friendly and helpful. Rooms spacious and comfortable.

This inn was beautiful! Very convenient location near Halifax's Stanfield Airport. The hosts were lovely. We had to leave before breakfast, so Patti made us a wonderful to-go breakfast! We'll definitely be staying there again next time we're in Halifax.

The rooms are comfortable and spacious with private baths. We enjoyed the friendliness and the large gathering space where we could all sit and visit. Patti and family are great hosts and make you feel like friends back for a visit. There is even a pool for visitors to use if desired. Highly recommended.

When we arrived we were greeted by Patti’s wonderful husband who escorted us in. Once inside, Patti asked us to pick between the upstairs or first floor. The room we chose was as well appointed as their beautiful home. We had all that we needed and more. Patti is a very gregarious hostess and we enjoyed the conversations, suggestions, and delicious breakfasts. The B & B is in the perfect location from the airport and to visit the valley for the day, Halifax, and other sites. You won’t be disappointed!!

Expedia said that we could check in anytime after 3... after arriving notice on door stated that we could only check in after 4. Owners notified and they are looking into it. Otherwise it was outstanding... great hosts. Great breakfast. Beautiful room and pool/deck.

Very nice social time

Our Google Map didn’t take us to the right location so we phoned Patti and she was able to easily guide us to the right destination which was a few kilometres away. The property is stunningly beautiful, tastefully decorated. Immediately Patti offered us tea and set us off to get settled. The room we stayed in was exceptionally clean. The whole house was exceptionally clean! Bed was firm. We had an early morning departure so we crept out with our bagged breakfast Patti ad prepared.

A great place to stay after flying into Halifax. Lovely reception and breakfast the next morning was outstanding. Also enjoyable to chat with other travellers over breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

A beautiful home in a beautiful setting. Very conveniently close to the airport and due to our early flight we were supplied a bagged lunch upon our departure. Enjoyed the social time in the evening with Patti, Mark and Andrew and other guests.

Cozy place to stay !!

We felt at home right away. The property is beautiful and the owners are very friendly. Breakfast was delicious. We only had one night there but it was lovely !! Would definitely recommend.

Beyond Expectations - Near Halifax Airport

Amazing all around - from the moment we were warmly welcomed by the son of the owner. First steps into the home smelled nice, looked great, and being that we were the first guests to arrive this date, were able to choose which room we wanted. Steps away on the main floor a beautiful guestroom. Upon check in enjoyed a cup of tea and quick walkabout. Enjoyed meeting and talking with them. Wished Ineoukd have called directly to reserve. Unfortunately hotels.com has only 2 room entitled to them..this making it hard to reserve more than just one night. 5 min drive to airport. Lovely as we had an early flight, this bed and breakfast has "breakfast to go with you". Very nice touch. I will highly recommend this hotel.... gets a huge 10+ from me! Thank you... note to booking.com - this is the type of bed and breakfast you should be associating yourself with and not the likes of Ascendence Manor!

The Snowflake Manor Bed and Breakfast was beautifully maintained.It was immaculate and the room was larger than most B and B’s we have been to. The breakfast was excellent and our host’s were friendly and made us feel very welcome.

A Wonderful Retreat!

A wonderful place to retreat to after or before your flight from the Halifax airport! Loved the social time in the evening, the wonderful hospitality, the delicious breakfast and the cozy accommodations! The swim in their refreshing salt water pool was the icing on the cake! :)

Words can’t praise this B & B enough!

By far Snowflake Manor was the best, most wonderful bed and breakfast in which I stayed during an extended visit to the Maritimes. The impressive home is spacious, the hosts are gracious, and their food is delicious. When I had mentioned that I had been unable to locate information about a matter which I was researching the host made numerous phone calls to sources whom she knew personally, and successfully procured the results which I had been unable to attain through the internet. Snowflake Manor is a home and family away from home – the warmest Nova Scotian hospitality one could wish for! ❤️❤️❤️

I would recommend Snowflake Manor to everyone.

Location is great when arriving at the airport. Patti and Mark are very hospitable and easy to get along with. Our room was just what the doctor ordered. Breakfast was great, fresly made and tasty.

We stayed at Snowflake for 2 nights and drove into Halifax both days to tour and have dinner. The B&B is beautiful and comfortable and our room was spacious and comfy. The breakfasts were both great. Our host, Patti, was full of stories of her experiences running a B&B and some of her most interesting guests.

Good B&B

Nice B&B but not near anything. Very clean but no air conditioning and small TV. Breakfast was good and hosts are very friendly and talkative. Very close to airport. Nice pool but didn’t try it out.

Wonderful stay - super clean, very “Canadian”, and really friendly hosts who were accommodating to our every need. We felt so at home, which made it very hard to leave at the end of our stay!!

Great B&B Experience

We spent one night at this great B&B before flying out of the Halifax airport early the next morning. Patti and Mark were very welcoming and friendly, upon our arrival she made us tea and we enjoyed the conversation with other guests. The entire house is extremely well decorated and the rooms are spacious with an on suite with lots of room. We would not hesitate to recommend this to others and have already booked for this summer. Last night stay

This was an excellent place for us to stay as we had a flight home the next morning. We felt welcomed into the home and enjoyed a great room, visit and breakfast. Would stay there again if we were out this way.
