We were both given dirty rooms one had a bed that had an unmade bed and my sister’s room had someone’s eyelashes and makeup stuff still in the bathroom so we needed to get different rooms. The pool was out of service when we got there and they never had enough clean towels most days. Staff were friendly though. "Its a beautiful hotel, like a hidden gem. The staff was excellent. The fact that they are dog friendly is great and the welcoming cookies and doggie loot bag was a great added touch. I would surely stay again or recommend to others."

"Hotel room was clean and comfortable. Area surrounding hotel was a little run down. Park buildings closed or abandoned. It would be great if there was a walkway next to the lake by the hotel like there is closer to downtown. I would stay there again. "
