We thoroughly enjoyed the solitude that this place provides, even though there are neighbors (everyone is so quiet and respectful, except for the house at the end of the drive that throws their yard waste off their deck). It provides comfortable gathering/seating to enjoy storms from within, and the fireplace works great! The beds were comfortable, the master was cavernouse and the closet provided a great space for our little one to be isolated for his sleep. The kitchen is functional, but lacks staples, so if it's more than salt or pepper, bring your own. The grounds are well kept, and while we didn't sit in the adirondack chairs on this stormy weekend, we know them to be comfortable. Really, everything went smoothly, which is exactly what you want. We did have to drive to get anywhere, but it really wasn't an inconvenience. The beach is quite rocky making for difficult walking, but it was easily accessed and really enjoyable to be so close, regardless. They were so kind to include binoculars, but they don't focus, so maybe there's some room for improvement there :) All in all, we would come back.
