I travel a lot for work and often stay in chain hotels like Holiday Inn or Best Western. When I can, I like to stay in a small mom/pop motel. This is what I did in Bradford. My advice is don’t stay here. I had prepaid the room on Expedia. The owner called me at 7pm and demanded I check in by 8pm. I was at dinner with friends and didn’t want to leave to go get my key. He said it was on website that check in is at 8pm but I didn’t see that. We had a discussion on the phone which gradually grew more intense. So I went to the hotel and the owner said he didn’t have to rent the room or refund my money. The room had a loud clanking space heater and poor bed and furnishings. This is an older rundown place with repairs needed on parking lot and interior. I would look for other options if staying in this area.

The location is an old style motel changing prices higher than quality hotels in the area. The price charged on arrival was significantly higher than the price indicated on the online registration.

It was quaint and quiet. Friendly, helpful staff. I had a great visit. Some of the room had weird "stains" on the walls and sediment that looked like blood way above my head in the shower on the wall. More thorough cleaning and maybe another coat of paint. Everything else was excellent!

Terribly disappointed in the condition of the 'hotel' when we arrived..so much so that we didn't even want to stay there and went to Holiday Inn Express in Newmarket instead. This place has no business charging that kind of money for the sketch place that it is!

All in all was very good. Staff was helpful and hospitable and room was simple and cozy. The only real criticism i have is that there did not appear to be air conditioning that i could see, so it got hot.

the motel was easy to fine, Close to our destination, friendly staff, late check out. didn't like that there was only a couple towels in the room, pillows were to soft and not enough per bed.

The owner tried to rip me off several times and took 30min to check out and give me my deposit back. And he was rude and slow!!!

I had to arrive at golf course early on the next day of my stay. therefore, I stayed at Bradford Inn. Facilities were not bad. when I could not find the room key, hotel staff kindly looked for it together.

The rooms weren't ready on arrival. The desk clerk suggested that my 3 men share a room with 2 beds because the second room wasn't available. There were ants on the floor

Great motel! Everything was very clean and the staff was friendly. Very affordable and the place was comfortable and quiet. Check in and and out was easy and we all enjoyed our stay. Easy Uber to and from the Bradford Barn. We will be back!

It was clean and comfortable. Only thing I didn't like I was told on the website I would pay at check in time but my credit card was charged $100.00 deposit about 3 days in advance and I still have not received it back yet.

You need a car and be able to ignore train noise
It is a traditional, old fashioned motel, looks very seedy, but the room was actually clean and tidy and bug free. There are no "facilities" such as coffee machine (not even in reception) and no ice maker. But heck it's a cheap motel. It is not close to town, without a car. There is only one restaurant within walking distance and that is really only a breakfast place. The wifi was erratic despite the managers attempts to fix it. The room were not tidied and replenished every day so there was never enough shampoo. Once I asked for extra shampoo because I had run out and it was supposed to be day for a refresh. So I was given some at reception. Then the room was tidied the following day.

Not too impressed. Cobwebs everywhere, tv did not work, air conditioner did not cool down the room, hand prints and other dirt marks on the ceiling.

Affordable.
It wasn't perfectly clean, merely good enough. The laminate floor is peeling up beneath the window that must have been left open by a previous guest in a rainstorm long ago, but it is good enough. Affordable and good enough.

Can't believe I even stayed in that room.
Floors dirty, ants all over the place. Found some food stuff, which i couldn't recognize, that was attracting the ants. Washed the floor my self with shampoo and facecloth It was totally disgusting My grandson was actually scared to stay in the room Not worth $5.00 never mind $90. We wouldn't even take our clothes off to sleep

No amenities here
No coffee machine, no ice machine on premises, no phone, no clock, no closet door, 2 hangars (from Danier Leather, guess someone forgot them !), no security lock, no key drop off, no place to put a towel in the washroom, no landscaping. Double (not queen) bed. They did have a fairly new $10 shower curtain... And you're required to leave a $100 deposit over and above the room rate. Check out is 11(or 12, depending on if you read back of the door or what's on your tiny undetailed receipt) but the office doesn't open until 1... Wasn't expecting much, but this place was truly sad.
