The property is in the prime location for Nyhaven. When everybody heads off to their hotels after a lively night in Nyhaven, residents merely walk to the end of the street. The sightseeing boats are outside too. The staff cannot do enough. Fabulous.

Beautiful 5 star hotel. Excellent service, beautiful rooms and views. Delicious breakfast. This hotel has easy access to boat tours and there are many dining options just feet away.

Absolutely great property considering being 200 years old! Awesome location and staff. I highly recommend the restaurant downstairs for dinner. Outstanding breakfast. I can’t wait to be back.

The property and rooms and beautiful, very clean and a comfortable welcoming presence throughout the hotel. The staff were wonderful, extremely helpful and friendly. A huge thank you to Lotte for checking us in and helping with everything we needed during our stay and to Sofia who made our breakfasts even better each morning! Every single detail was perfect for us, we were made to feel extremely special and the extra touches were fantastic, we cannot wait to stay again. Thank you team 71 Nyhavn

We got a very warm welcome upon arrival at the hotel and were given lots of help and advice. We were given an option to upgrade to a room with a view but we declined as we felt £228 on top of what we had already paid was a bit steep. As it was, our room was on the side of the building and we could see the main canal anyway. The room was clean and nicely decorated but quite small. We booked an executive queen. There wasn't any space for our luggage and only a small area to hang clothes on which basically took our coats. I'm not sure who needs a full blown ironing board. We could have done with some English breakfast tea though. The shower room was quite spacious but lacks privacy due to being very close to the bed and only being separated by an opaque screen. The beds were comfortable although the pillows too soft. The temperature was way too high and we had to open the balcony door at night. We liked the hotel but felt the room was a let down and definitely not 5 star. Breakfast was great and the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. The only time we were let down by staff was when being served at the bar by an older Italian gentleman who was very impatient whilst I was choosing my wine and started to serve another lady in the middle of our order. He was a little abrupt and made us feel like we were inconveniencing him. Overall, the location is great, the majority of the staff are wonderful, the breakfast is lovely but the room lacked space and overall comfort.

Yazmin greeted us after a 9 hr flight. She gave us an option between an available room that was comparable and had a much better layout than the Junior Suited we reserved. She gave us breakfast, lunch and dinner suggestions. She also made reservations to a fantastic restaurant Vaest for our first night. She was terrific. The hotel is lucky to have such a wonderful and helpful employee. It set the tone of the whole trip and my wife and I were so very happy to know that the hotel staff, the restaurant in the hotel and everyone were so helpful and kind. Great place to stay. I cannot wait to return with our children.

Great location by the water on Nyhavn, the breakfast buffet was fantastic with a wide choice of cooked, pastries and scandinavian-type cereals - with smoothies and juice as an option. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful experience at 71 Nyhavn! Great location within walking distance to many attractions and restaurants, very friendly staff full of recommendations, and cozy but comfortable rooms. The complimentary breakfast alone is worth a stay here, one of the very best spreads I've ever seen at a hotel (breads, Danish cheeses, meats, bacon, sausage, omelette bar, yogurts, juices, eggs cooked to your specification, sweets) with lots of variety. The pastries (all various Danish favorites) changed day by day depending upon the chef. Highly recommend this hotel, it's the embodiment of hygge!

The hotel is situated at the end of Neuhaven canal which is itself very popular but the hotel was quiet and enjoyable. The staff were pleasant and helpful with information. Breakfast was plentiful and great choice. Access from the airport is easy simply take the metro and a short walk to the hotel either down the quiet side of the canal or the more busier restaurant side. Neuhaven square is handy for canal and bus trips as well as the shopping district. We went for Christmas and markets are well accessible, we were lucky to see the local light festival take place outside on the canal.

Great location, comfortable bed and incredibly clean. I enjoyed many of the historical aspects of the hotel but I found the hallways quite narrow, and my room small. I didn't pay for a room with a view; unfortunately, my room was dark and looked out onto another building and some pipes. The connected restaurant, which runs the breakfast service, was very good for dinner as well. Overall, a nice stay but I expected more for the price.
