Stayed for a week. Housekeeping removed our soap and cleaning supplies from the bathroom. Pillows are less and desirable and one on each bed was shredded foam in a pillowcase (too many washings?) Staff was not congenial. I always felt like we were a bother to them.

The room was a mess when we checked in and the cleaning staff left our room open for 12 hours while we were gone. Luckily our stuff was not stolen. Manager shrugged it off. Terrible place.

They were upgrading and remodeling the rooms. We got one of the rooms that hadn't been upgraded. It was definitely in need of it. The staff was nice, breakfast was ok (cooked items like eggs and sausage weren't great).

So, we stayed during June which is A hot month, the air conditioning was barely working and we were so overheated . So we asked the front desk for help, They said sorry there's nothing we can do. So we had to go to target to buy 2 large box fans because it was so hot in there we couldn't sleep.

The property was under renovation, which I didn't know when I made the reservation on line. If I had known that, I wouldn't have chosen this property. Not a very pleasant sight to have a dumpster full of old mattresses and furniture just outside the door! Our room looked as if it was partially redone, but most of it was worn and shabby. It was very clean, though.

I loved the staff. Super nice & helpful. The hotel is under construction so there was limited parking due to supplies being in the parking lot. I didn’t like that there was a wedge put between the side door but realize it would be inconvenient for workers coming in & out. We were just in town for a trap meet so we spent more time away from the hotel & we’re just there to sleep & the hotel was perfect for this.

Don't Stay!
I travel quite a bit and def don't have super high standards. However, this was So bad! We were sent to a room that wasn't ready, no bedding, towels or anything. Once it was ready, there was still left over garbage and crumbs all over from the people before us. And still no towels, cups, or anything. The toilet wouldn't stop running, so my husband had to work on it. The air wasn't cold, so my husband cleaned the filters. There were holes in the wall. The toilet paper holder was laying on the counter, no where for it to be mounted. The beds were sagging and so uncomfortable. You would need at least 5 pillows to make 1 decent pillow. I could keep going but you get the pic. I understand they are going thru remodeling but it was def not a good experience. However, they did have plenty of plug ins; which is rare for a hotel. And the gentleman working the day we checked in was great, however the service the next day was very rude. First and last time staying at an AmericInn.

The staff was excellent and a very comfortable bed!! Nice location too. But with the renovations it wasn't pleasant to walk past rooms with toilets pulled out of the bathrooms and carpeting pulled up. Perhaps, you could have the doors closed when guests come.Thanks you

The price was perfect for what we got; a spacious room to spend the night in and a hot breakfast before we hit the road. Easy access and quiet. They were in the middle of a remodel. Our room wasn't done yet so I'm sure if we stayed again it would be even better.
