First, we were surprised to not find a kitchenette. The description did not explicitly state there would be, but the called it a “Studio”. That implies there is a kitchenette. Instead, it was just a standard hotel suite except for the larger refrigerator. That was a small apartment size refrigerator.
The thing that our review way down, though, was the bed. It sagged painfully (in my case) and was a little lumpy. I wound up having to buy an air mattress to sleep on to save my back.
The bathroom was fine although my wife complained about the shower head. Neither the water valve nor shower head were flow adjustable and the water pressure though shower head stung her skin. Our stay was Memorial Day weekend, the start of summer season and their pool had major issues and was out of service. The room was spacious. The internet was very high speed, which made for very pleasant streaming tv viewing, since the facility does not have cable or satellite tv.
The second or third night of our six night stay, there was a tornado warning at about 4:00 am. We had no idea where to. Fortunately, a tornado did happen and the next day I called to check where the shelter was. There is no office on the site.
