Stylish Home | Pet-Friendly | Centrally Located

Spacious modern space is a home away from home for you and your family, friends, and fury friends! Everything you need to have for a comfortable stay is right here. When you arrive, you will have a code to get through the front door. The whole home is ready for your stay! This two-level house (laundry room is the only things downstairs) has four bedrooms, a living room (with a sleeper sofa), a washer and dryer, a bathroom, and a full kitchen with a dishwasher, along with a one two garage and a fenced in back yard area for your fury friends. The backyard can be accessed through the backdoor or from the garage.

OUTDOOR LIVING: Nice seating area with tables and chairs, a charcoal grill that gives off a richer, smokier taste of your favorite food, and enjoy the beautiful evening weather..

INDOOR LIVING: Fast Wi-Fi, the living room is a great space to hang out with a couch, nice armchair along with a large TV that has all the smart TV capabilities. Tons of natural light to soak up the sun. Kitchen table that sits right off of the kitchen with enough seating for a full 10 guests.

KITCHEN: Fully equipped, stainless-steel appliances, cups, bowls, plates, mugs, and silverware are all provided as well as pots, pans, and cooking utensils. We also have large mixing bowls, measuring cups, and other essentials. Coffee machine and dishwasher.

GENERAL: All of our sheets are premium, crisp 100% cotton, bath towels are thick, soft, and luxurious. Complimentary toiletries, hair dryer, air conditioning and heating.

PARKING: The driveway is large enough for a couple of vehicles and you will have access to the two car garage to store your vehicle in! A large pad along street allows for even more off street parking.

Above all else, our team here at J&J Hospitality care very deeply about keeping a clean home so our guests can feel at ease staying here. In between every guest we mop all floors, vacuum all carpets, scrub all surfaces in the kitchen and bathroom, replace the shower liner, wash all bedding (including quilts/shams), bleach all sheets and towels, and make sure everything is back in it's place before our new guests arrive.

Cancellation policy:
We offer free cancellation or a 100% refund of the amount payable if you cancel 30 days before your check-in date. If you cancel, we will charge a 20% processing fee (to cover credit card processing and administrative fees).


Other things to note
- For dogs: We don't allow puppies (less than 1 year old), German shepherds, or huskies.
- We do not allow cats.
- If bringing a pet, pet fee of $75 is required. Please message us to let us know so that we can send a request for the payment or you can pay through the listing platform.

Reminder: Maintenance aside from emergencies will only be able to be tended to during business hours 8am-5pm.
IMPORTANT NOTE: All guests are REQUIRED to SIGN the Renter's Agreement before checking in. This document comprehensively outlines the rules, policies, and terms governing your stay with us. By signing, you acknowledge and commit to adhering to these regulations throughout your tenure at our property.

Additional rules

1. If issues arise during your stay, you'll have to communicate promptly with us. Good communication between us (the host) and the guest is important for successful stays. You should respond to us (the hosts) within 24 hours when we are reaching out to resolve an issue.

2. It is a "must" to read the entire listing description and the house rules of our property. If, in this case, you DO NOT read over our listing description or house rules and are not comfortable with something that is clearly stated, we will uphold our cancellation policies.

3. No unregistered guests/visitors unless preapproved

4. Please keep noise to a minimum after 10PM and always be respectful of the
neighbors and other tenants in the building.

5. No parties or events unless previously organized in writing with the host. If
there’s evidence of a party or event, there’ll be an additional charge of $250.

6 If bringing a pet:
6.1 We don't allow puppies (less than 1 year old), German shepherds, or huskies.
6.2 If bringing a pet, pet fee of $75 per is required. Please message us to let us know so that we can send a request for the deposit.
6.3 DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH
6.4 Please clean up after your dog (pick up your dog's poop)
6.5 No pets allowed on furniture or beds.

7. Follow state laws when using fire pit. Please make sure not to leave fires unattended.

8. For noise complaints:
8.1 If we receive any noise complaints from neighbors a security guard will be called out to the property at a cost of $85 to guests for the first call out.
8.2. If security is called a second time during your stay, you will be charged a $250 fee and be removed from the premises with no refund of your stay.

9. No smoking anywhere in this house. If we find evidence of smoking anywhere in the house you will be charged $250 for extra cleaning.

Follow all check-out procedures:
1. Take out all trash

2. Wash dishes and please put them on drying rack before leaving.

Note:
* A $200 extra cleaning fee may be charged if home is left unreasonably dirty and requires more work than usual to clean (for example: mud on the couches, pet hair on furniture/beds ). All damages will also be charged to guest.

* Check out time is scheduled for 10:00 am on the day of departure unless previously agreed with the host. If the guest is more than 90 minutes late checking out guest will be charged $100.

* Any costs incurred by the host as a result of a late check out will be passed on to you.

Black Hills family vacation
The house itself is nicely decorated and offered plenty of space for all 10 of us. 5 adults and 5 children. Our kids enjoyed the ping pong table and the pac man game. Those were big contributors in why we chose this house. Unfortunately there was food, dead bugs, animal hair, and other debris on the floor all throughout the house. There was also animal hair on some of the beds. (We did not travel with any animals) Cobwebs in every corner and some of the furniture is stained and dingy. When I let them know they did offer to have someone come clean but we had already cleaned up most of it so I declined. I did ask to have our cleaning fee reimbursed but have not heard anything in response to that. The kitchen is not well stocked and for our party of 10 that intended to use the kitchen for several meals it was something that is to be noted. No pizza pan or slicer and just a couple of small pots and pans. We also had to scrub the available pans before use because they were dirty.The downstairs bathroom didn’t latch. The curtain in the main living room doesn't cover the whole window and is sheer so there is little privacy in that regard. There were barking dogs in the adjacent yards and dog poop in the yard. Overall, our time at the house was fine and we managed but I’ve stayed in much nicer and cleaner vrbos for a lot less.

Nice stay for seeing local sites
This house provided a nice stay for us to visit all the area sites including Mt Rushmore, Black Hills, Badlands, and Devil’s Tower. The house met our needs and we found it mostly as pictures. There were a few items that upon our arrival needed attention, but the host promptly responded. There was a decent grocery and excellent local coffee shop (Fancy Coffee) nearby. The backyard was spacious for our dogs and the kids enjoyed the games at the house. Overall, it was a comfortable stay.

Older house, residential neighborhood, some minor defects, front door screen needs replacement etc Worked well for our mini reunion of mostly seniors who hadn't been together in quite sometime. I would rent again if I was needing something in this area.

Good Location, Great Host, Roomy
We enjoyed Rapid City and the various attractions in the area. The host was excellent and very accommodating and helpful which made things smooth. The neighborhood is quiet middle class with dogs, children, and the people we talked too were friendly. Very easy access to Interstate 90 and a local small grocery store is just across the interstate. The property listing is accurate. It is very roomy with plenty of closet space. There are two living areas which makes it nice for those with children. The heaters are easy to operate and provide ease of giving comfort for people in various areas. While generally the property was clean and well maintained, we did have an issue with some of the cleanliness and maintenance in a few areas. We informed the host of the cleaning and maintenance issues. He was apologetic and we told him that we did not need any of it taken care of immediately. This was a reflection on the cleaning service and former guests not reporting issues. I am sure they will be corrected before any other guests arrive as the host was not pleased with these issues. All that being said, we would stay there again and would recommend to others. My feeling is that these issues will all be corrected within a few days and no longer an area of concern. Unfortunately, these issues dropped the overall rating to a 4. Most areas were rated a 5.

People and pet friendly
So many things about this property worked so well for us. Large home with 2 living spaces. Table large enough to have all guests eat and play games. The garage easily held 2 vehicles which was great due to the snow. The fenced backyard was so convenient with the dog. When we needed to stay another night due to weather the owner responded very quickly. Even neighbors were friendly. 😊

Dad's Funeral
There were 8 adults and a 2 year old staying 3 nights. It was clean and comfortable. It is close to the interstate which made travel easy. There was enough room for all of us to be able to hang out together with the option to divide among the 2 living spaces. The only drawback was the ensuite bathroom downstairs which was inaccessible when that bedroom is being used. For us, the price was much more affordable than 4 hotel rooms and allowed us to all be together.

Loved the house!
It was a very nice house, quiet neighborhood, and quick access to the freeway. Haggar's Grocery store very convenient - less than a mile away. We were traveling with the family (including our six children, ages 7 - 18) and the house was perfect for us! The kids loved the ping-pong table and the Pac-Man game! We would highly recommend this property and would stay there again.

Perfect!!
We had everything we needed. This comfortable home was clean and inviting. Central to all that we wanted to do and access to the main highway was so easy. The main level and finished basement gave us 2 separate zones and provided the privacy we wanted. Ranch style home was perfect for Dad as had all he needed without stairs. Thank you for providing this wonderful space we called home for a week.

Stay was fine there were no flat sheets on beds and top cover was not comfortable. There also was an issue with the trash bin was full from last guest and was not picked up on trash day.
