This hotel is hugely over-priced : accommodation costs double what it is worth, food and beverage has European prices for very low quality, the sauna/hammam has to be paid for (by hotel guests !). The standard should be much higher for prices close to 200 euro per night. Everything that this hotel has on offer is just very average. It does not meet basic standards. The following are quality issues that have arisen in a short 12 day stay.
1. Security. Above all, for a place where 25 or so people died in a major assault in 2015, the security is full of potential breaches, e.g. emergency exits are unusable because the doors fell into the locks (broken), electricity went away for a full night without any corrective action being taken unless after contacting the reception, outsiders can just jump over the neighbours' walls, security screening is ineffective, UN peace keepers were spotted a few times (maybe three times) and then were invisible in-house (they are chatting outdoors all the time, and smoking), twice I have seen armed guys that were visibly probably not even 17 years old (probably external security companies).
2. Room : not enough light ; bath tub stopper not working ; toilet does not stop leaking water ; air conditioning not cooling the room and making a lot of noise, towels smelling heavily and not fresh, fridge cooling insufficiently.
3. Breakfast : every day exactly the same on offer. Warm dishes almost inedible. Waitresses sneak under your arms to take away you
