The hotel was in a nice place close to everything a lot of shops and restaurants and coffee shops is in the city center about 10 minutes away from the beach. The breakfast was good a lot of things to eat and fresh orange juice and a lot of cakes and coffee.

Disappointing Experience!
Theres NO bar/restaurant onsite,as advertised. Theres a bar next doir that closes from 4pm to 8pm,and the staff are not very friendly, like its an effort for them to do their job. Disappointing overall.

Excellent Hotel Right Downtown
This hotel vastly exceeded my expectations: my room was huge and recently renovated. The hotel is right downtown, so it is a short walk to everything--and yet I had no issues with noise. The one minor snag was that my room was located in the building across the street from main reception, and I had to return to the front desk to get them to show me where exactly my room was. But once they showed me, I had no more issues.

Great staff. Basic small room with fridge provided but no kettle. Centre of town so fantastic position. Tv 5 English channels. Great for shopping eating beach 15 minutes walk. Would come back to this hotel and city.

Nice comfortable , clean hotel at a sensible price. Staff really helpful, near attractions, bars and restaurants. Even some UK TV channels. Perfect base for sightseeing or business. Would highly recommend. Breakfast lovely, have as much as you want

Due to works I was put into Nuevo Torreluz
Centrally located, there seem to be several properties under Torreluz name and the check-in seems administered at Nuevo Torreluz hotel. Due to works at Torreluz Centro I was put into Nuevo Torreluz which has 1 more star - so no complaints about my stay, but perhaps of little use to others.

It was OK
The address on the booking is not correct as under that address the hitel undergoes renovation and was shut. I was scared i was being scammed so went amd asked the nearest hotel at the squere and turned iut it was tge hotel. Staff was friendly and bed really big and comfirtable. Pressure in the shower was weak and breakfast could be much better.

Needs a good upgrade of furniture and linens. Tired decor but clean. Pretty basic but cheap. Returned for another night and second bedroom was better and the tv got all channels this time. Good hot showers. Good for overnight stay but not long term

I enjoyed my stay. All the staff were friendly. Room was clean. The hotel terrace was a pleasant place to sit. This hotel fulfilled my needs in all ways. The breakfast was good, staff pleasant and room clean.

Hotel is in great location. for a 2 star hotel it was great value, walls are a little thin & could clearly hear bathroom next door. Continental breakfast was very nice.

The Good, The Bad and the Noisy
The amount of noise from the street at night made sleep difficult as did noise from a nextdoor room ( the walls are thin). When we entered the room we discovered a broken chair, a non-working hairdryer, and a window blind that would not close. Those were repaired/replaced the next day when we notified the front desk. The beds were also painfully old. Wifi acted up at times too. We did enjoy the excellent breakfast and nearby parking that we, of course, prepaid for. The staff was also very accommodating. Although the street noise was appalling at night, the hotel is truly located perfectly for restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing. So we feel that the “ glass 1/2 full, glass 1/2 empty “ rule sums up our feelings about the hotel.

Lovely stay good value clean
Had a lovely 2 night stay. Room clean. Nice tapas bar on site friendly staff. Parking cost extra and had to get assistance from hotel staff to show us where it was as in an old part of town down side street. Would stay here again. Great breakfast! Suggest you get the room, breakfast & parking deal

Hotel is centrally located on a nice square. The car park was right next door, bit was hard to find, but the receptionist was very helpful by showing the way. The breakfast was excellent! The room itself was in the next door building, but was clean.

At Almeira in general, parking is a bit of a challenge. Whether it is to find a spot or garage or to actually maneuver your car into the desired spot. Given the hotel's location, most interesting spots are easily reached by foot.

Central City Hotel
We have stayed here many times and it is always excellent value. In a square in the centre of Almeria with quick and easy access to the shops, bars and restaurants, it's location is perfect. The rooms are spacious with aircon and satellite tv; the bathrooms are newly renovated and there is always plenty of hot water - which can be a problem in some hotels. We heartily recommend it!

I couldn't stay there. I took one look at the room and it was so small and dingy, I had to leave. They would not refund me, which is understandable I suppose, but they were fully booked and had other people in line at the desk looking for a room, so they were going to make money from me and someone else for that night - it would have been nice if they had let me off the hook ... but anyway, I took the loss and booked a stay at a place on the beach. There were two guys at the front desk, one of whom was nice, the other of whom was gruff, verging on rude. Before I even checked in, he barked at me over a reservation mistake HE had made, so I can’t even say they are organized. Note: there are two buildings to this hotel, one old and one new. The new hotel may be better, but the old one, where I was booked, was creepy. Might be OK for 18-year-old backpackers, but anyone who wants comfort and moderately nice aesthetics should think about going someplace else.

The hotel is in the perfect location in Almeria, a short walk from all the tapas bars, cathedral and fort, plus only 10 mins walk from the beach. The facilities are good too, excellent value for money. One thing to note - you need to check in at the Nuevo Torreluz so don't waste time hanging around at the Torreluz Centro desk as it's never manned (despite the back in 10 minutes notice!)

We really liked the hotel and staff.As most of Spanish in this region doesn't speak English so does staff, but we loved it- it was absolutely incredible experience, they are friendly. Even tough they speak Spanish they will explain everything slowly and patiently, showing and guiding you until you'll get it. Close to all important places and must-see sights. For us no fridge in room was the problem.There was also problem with parking-we couldn't find it even with the directions because some of the streets was closed.Room and bathroom was really clean, so we liked it, It is a quiet hotel even though it is located in the heart of the town.

Was disappointed on entering my room to see there was no bath and the room was quite small but adequate. However, on speaking to reception they immediately upgraded me for 6 euros to a superior room which was great. Wifi is provided free of charge but unfortunately I couldn't get it to work on my iPad nor iPhone so check this out first.

Ideal location in the heart of Almeria
Torreluz II, next door to Torreluz, is under mutual management, and the only downgraded element is that the rooms aren't appointed with great finery ... but they have everything you need, including a hair dryer, an in-room safe (key must be secured from front desk), wifi and a comfortable bed. No mini-bar? Who cares? One of the finest tapas bars in the city is at your feet. Anything you want to do in the old part of Almeria is also within a 10 minute walk, including the Alcazaba or a stroll to the seafront. The staff were extremely thoughtful and caring after a lost luggage incident. I can't praise the hotel enough.
