You get what you pay for! At the price I paid, I figured I could tolerate the conditions for one night…fortunately if was just one night. Toilet flushed very slowly, shower faucet had no stop controls for either cold or hot, lavatory faucet was loose and required two hands to operate (my wife could not turn it on even with two hands), privacy window shade was broken, floor was filthy and had not been mopped (our feet had dirt residue FROM THE FLOOR that required us to clean our feet before retiring). My wife had to mop the floor to be comfortable. The room smelled of stale curry, The bed was comfortable but the mattress kept sliding askew on the frame when climbing into bed. Joint caulking and tub caulking was dirty and peeling, Tom Bodet would not have stayed there and would not have endorsed it as a room to “leave the light on”. I would have expected such a room in a third world country but not in America!
