The property is located on the water, but there is a large dune and overgrown grass to get to the beach although the pathway is walkable. The lobby is beautiful. The restaurant served good food. I was very disappointed that there was no Jacuzzi. The weather was cool and overcast so that would’ve been a perfect place for us to spend time. It’s a short walk to the main road to catch public transportation. The room left a little to be desired. Lightbulbs were very very low wattage and you couldn’t read anything with the light that was provided. Only one wall light in the living room no ceiling fans no ceiling lights. The two hanging lamps next to our bed had places for two bulbs, but there was only one bulb in each one. However, we asked for two more lightbulbs and they brought them to the room. We were there for three days and they forgot to clean one day. By 4 o’clock I complained & they came immediately. We had to ask for coffee every day and they only left a few when they cleaned. There’s very little furniture. Even though we had a junior suite there was no sofa just two chairs. No coffee table no end table no lights. Even though it had a microwave and a refrigerator, and that is why we asked for a junior suite, there was no silverware/dishes. I booked a view of the bay and the ocean. The problem was our room was right over the garbage/maintenance area. No ice machines on every floor. Had to search.

They advertise as pet friendly but not everywhere we have a small 14 lb bichon that’s 8 yrs old does not bother anyone couldn’t take him in the pool “area “ or the restaurant we didn’t expect to eat inside but not even in the covered area we could eat outside in 30 mile an hr wind which is bad enough but the land sharks manager was a jerk

Hotel was nice, pool was good. Depending on where you sat, it was a little loud. Food was average. Big problem was our room faced north and was overlooking the dumpster. If you didn’t look down, it was a nice view but was pretty hard to ignore the trash and workers out there regularly. For reference, We booked a deluxe king room.

Nice property! Great location on the beach. Very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint is the choice of music for nightly entertainment. Would love if it was more family friendly. We were thinking more Jimmy Buffet music vibes rather than hard rock.
