Property although very nice in the otherwise busy and dirty Kolkata, could do with some renovation. It looks a bit tired. The reception area was very dull. Rooms I think they are going to renovate soon. Breakfast was the highlight with fantastic choice and all the bells and whistles. Staff is the best asset Oberoi has. Ronak at breakfast was a lovely guy and looked after us so well. Thanks Ronak.

Really nice hotel that is within the busy city but still feels somewhat secluded. Staff was all very nice and helpful. Room was cozy and clean. Easy to walk around to some nearby shopping and locations or grab a ride to explore Kolkata.

This hotel is my favorite in Kolkata. The service is the best ever. But unfortunately the rooms smelled very musty and moldy this time. My husband has ashtma so we had to change room to get a balcony room for the air flow (which they charged), was musty as well! Room#354. We had to turn the AC off and let the natural air flow the whole time by cracking the balcony door open. Maybe it's the particular wing of the hotel since I've stayed there before and didn't have this issue. I think it needs a renovation soon atleast that wing of the hotel. Other than that everything was perfect.
