We stayed here for one night on our way back to Canada. The room was modern/ upgraded and very clean. The price was excellent at $71. /night. Would highly recommend this property. Continental breakfast included. Check in process with the gentleman however was extremely slow and we were the only ones checking in . The lady at checkout was grumpy and not friendly at all. We were on second floor and there are no elevators.

Mixup at checkin had staff thinking they gave us the wrong room. Had to wait for them to figure it out. Will stay again, though. Very clean and seemed safe area.

Given that, to my knowledge, they are not building new HoJos, this one, at least my room, was renovated and in good shape. Slightly better than one might expect for thr rate.
