Stay far away from this property
Where do I start? If I could give this place a zero rating I would. In Oct 2023, we booked this property for a 3 night stay in Mar 2024. We never heard from the owner before we arrived with any check-in details. We reached out to him a number of times but no reply. We contacted VRBO to let them know that we had not heard from the owner and VRBO tried contacting him and also did not hear back. Before considering helping us out VRBO required us to go to to the property, so we did that which meant going to the property from the airport after an overnight flight. We rang the door bell multiple times but no one answered. So we had to call VRBO from the front door and arrange alternate accommodations. The first day of our vacation was consumed with getting this all sorted out. I wouldn't wish the experience on my worst enemy! We don't know what has happened with this owner but the property should be removed from VRBO.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Location good&calm, but had to wash bed-covers first - will not stay again
The flat is well located - public transport in 2min(bus) and 6-8min (tramway) walking distance. We stayed for 4-5 nights. However, there were some major problems, why we would not stay again at this place: 1.) When booking, we got a discount since this is a new property on the platform - but 1 week after booking the host asked for a second payment amounting exactly to the discount - we had the option of cancelling for free (but would have had to look for a different place) 2.) Although the booking stated 12:00 as check-in time, we were only offered a time after 2pm. 3.) Upon arrival: all beds were still with used bed-ware, the host did not inform us about this, and was not reachable for 1-2 hours. Hence we complained with the fewo-agency - after which the host contacted us. Replacement sheets in correct size were missing - we had to wash them. We negotiated that we get a discount (the original discount mentioned in 1). 4.) Overall the cleanliness is poor: although there is a cleaning-fee on the invoice, it was obvious that there has been no cleaning-service before our arrival (crumbs on the tables, bathroom-trash full, sheets used). Furthermore, some parts have not been cleaned for a long time (bio-film on shower-head, spider-webs in every room) 5.) The host complained about the cleanliness after we left - for things which should be obviously taken care of by the billed cleaning service (like emptying the trash) - seriously?!!
