"Overall the stay was good. Staff was really friendly and helpful! Great service. Room style was still in the 70’. Somewhat nostalgic. What is kind of great to experience in my opinion. Overall the room was clean. Major downside poor maintained bathroom, with mold on the ceiling. A hotel in that category must do better than this. One of the major highlights is a great breakfast with an awesome view on Mt Fuji (if the weather allows). "

"This hotel is special. It's located in a forest across from one of the 5 lakes of Fuji. Is has the feel of an older Adirondack country resort, especially with the autumn colors we experienced. Rooms are large, comfortable, well equipped and in good condition. We had a western room in the annex. I'm sure the Japanese rooms in the main building will be superb.
