Terrific value for your money, I really appreciated the free airport shuttle and free breakfast, Room rates were reasonable for an older hotel. The check in was good as the customer service agent was accommodating, I made the mistake of booking a really early flight and I had 2 very tired teens with me and when I asked to check in early, the agent worked hard to try and accommodate and was very nice and understanding. Breakfast was really good - options like sausages (2 kinds!), eggs (the premixed kind but hey it’s free), pancakes, diced potato hash browns (seasoned well), pastries, bread, bagel, cinnamon buns, variety of juices. The food was always well stocked and hot, we didn’t get a chance to have breakfast on the last day but the shuttle driver also prepared bagged breakfast to set out (packaged muffin, juice box and an apple) but it was too early for us to feel like eating anything when we were leaving. Proximity to the airport is really good. Only downside was the bathroom had a very musty smell - like it was cleaned with a dirty rag and that was the worst I’ve encountered. I had no cleaning supplies and tried to wash the shower walls with the available soap but it didn’t really help. I would have asked them to clean again but if it already smelled like that from the moment we walked in - after they considered it cleaned then I doubt they’d realize the issue when returning to clean. Hopefully it was a one-off and just happened to be this time and this room.

Even though this hotel is some distance from YVR Airport they offer a free shuttle bus service. There are a few eating places a short walk from the hotel including The Old Spaghetti Factory. There are more restaurants a short drive away or if walking it would take 15 to 20 mins. Rooms are great and the breakfast buffet is kept well stocked. We stayed 6 nights and would definitely stay again.

0/10. After travelling for 20 hours we arrived at the hotel then had to wait another hour in the lobby for another staff member to check us in. The hotel didn’t have our booking (which was an issue with Expedia) but we then had to re purchase another room and were told to take it up with our bank. Once we got into the room there was- no lie- a section of the carpet soaked in what smelled like urine. They gave us a new room quickly which was appreciated. However when we called to re book another night and asked if there was a chance for accommodation or discount because of the issues, we were told the manager said no, the prices are firm.

The bed was very comfortable. Amazing pillows and soft sheets. The bad...the pool was very dirty, and the free breakfast ended so early, we missed it altogether. Very frustrating!

We had a great stay, our suite was very clean and very roomy. The complimentary breakfast was great, lots of food and options. A lot of amenities next door including a movie theatre and restaurants. The kids loved the pool and the hours of operation were great to accommodate later hours after a full day of sightseeing the area. Would stay again and highly recommend.

I travel often on business, and I tend to stay at these Holiday Inn Express properties because they offer good value for the m0ney. This property meets those expectations, but I do need to say that the furnishings do need to be updated, not shabby but at the end of their service life

I had prepaid for the room at the time of booking. When I checked in they wanted a deposit for “incidentals”. The amount I was told it would be was $150.00. Because I was going to use my debit card it would be. $500.00! What the heck is with that?

Had stayed at Riverport Holiday Inn several times, the 9ft ceiling makes it very relaxing and delicious breakfast is worth the drive. The parking stalls in the hotel are always full and are super tight/ small but can park outside. I’ve noticed a noticable decline in the cleanliness. There’s mold in the bathroom wall, mildew smell in the sheets, and room was overall damp smell. Which is unfortunate, because it’s such a nice hotel.

Hotel good overall, buffet breakfast superb, pool lovely, free airport shuttle appreciated, one time we were dropped off at Bridgeport for the SkyTrain as it saved paying the extra charge from the airport which we did twice on our way downtown, would be better if that could be done more often as it's on the way. Also pretty noisy at breakfast with kids running around over the weekend for a sports event, I had to tell them to be quiet.

The kitchen staff serving breakfast were absolutely delightful! They worked like honey bees keeping the lovely food coming, fresh , hot and delicious! I was so impressed! And though not a big breakfast eater really enjoyed the delicious food and appreciated it changed daily each morning. I spoke to 2of the staff to thank them. They were so humble and gracious.

The hotel is nice, clean, except maybe the pool. Also, the water in the pool was cold. The included breakfast is pretty much the same everyday. They clean the rooms daily and provided fresh towels. They have dove body wash, shampoo, and conditioner available in the washroom if you didn’t bring your own.

Pros: clean, modern room. Beds were comfortable. Pool was good for the kids. The maintenance man was super friendly and nice. Cons: check in took a while as they had someone training. My room keys didn't work had to go back to the desk and wait in line to get new ones. Then they worked for a bit but stopped working and I got locked out of the building (back door) until a staff member let me in. Our toilet was plugged upon our arrival and we needed maintenance to come fix it. Pool was cloudy, needed maintenance.
