We arrived to find out that I had booked us in for one less night than intended. The man at the front desk fixed up our issue with no fuss, organizing to have a triple bed room made up within twenty minutes. The room was spacious and very comfortable, but it was the staff that really made Shinjuku Prince for us. The man that had helped us with the room was a continuous source of help throughout our stay, I wish I had got his name so I could say thank you!

Service is very good! Location is excellent, if you are traveling by JR or taking the Tokai Shinkansen. Rooms are well lit. The East Tower rooms, bathrooms and especially the bathtubs are tiny. Can't leave your suitcase open or there is no place to walk. If you'd like a roomier stay, you might go with the Grand Takanawa Prince, up the hill. Great free Wi-fi. The Greener Clean service is good if you stay more than two nights. You can opt to not have your room cleaned and they give you a ¥500 coupon which can be used at most restaurants, gift shops and the 7-11 in the complex. Did it every other night. Great value for the price.

Awesome location, hotel itself is located in a big shopping centre, near Tokyu hands, in less than 5 min walk to main roads of ikebukuro, around 10 min to ikebukuro station, there is limousine bus stop just outside of hotel. There's LAN cable for free access to internet (not that quick).
Rooms are small (but like most accommodation in Tokyo). Housekeeping workers do not speak English, which may lead to some miscommunications here and there.

I have stayed at the Prince Sakura hotel before. The rooms are large with western size bathrooms. The hotel is very stylish and it is located 400 meters from Shinagawa Station (with direct links to both Tokyo airports).
